Is this a good idea? Anyone know how expensive it is? My skin is nice now (I'm 20 weeks preg.) but I'm afraid of flabby skin-is this inevitable?

Your stomach will go back to normal. Just don't gain a lot of weight or have quadruplets and you should be fine...

mmm....not to be a kill joy but it totally depends on your genes. I had twins, not quads, and my formerly smooth flat stomach is one big saggy mess now that all the sit-ups in the world are not helping. we are going to try for another and if/when it happens and the pregnancy is over I will be getting a tummy tuck.

I am considering surgery as well. Can anyone comment of tummy tuck verses lipo?

leslie I am not expert but my understanding from a plastic surgeon is this - lippo is the way to go if you just have a little pooch from actual fat - they can suck it out and you will be good as new - but if you skin is all stretched and your muscles too they opt for a tummy tuck so they can tighten up your muscles and trimmed off excess/loose skin.

My sister got really big, had a 6 pound baby and the week after she had her baby her stomach was almost flat aweek later it was flat and looked like before she had the baby and no strtech marks....my sister in law had an 8 pound baby no strech marks and her stomach went right back to tight and flat, i had a 6 pound baby and i stretched and my stomach is still sagging and poochy over a year later ( i did have a csection which does lead to pooching ) i am getting a tummy tuck after im done having kids.....i know w/ csections they will deem it medically necessary bc they skin looses feeling(sometimes) Good Luck
