Honestly, I don't know what to tell you, other than, I sympathize. I gained 75 lbs during pregnancy, though mine was due to pre-ecclampsia. I had my baby 2 months ago, and have only lost 30 pounds. My normal weight is 110, and I'm at 155. So...if I can think of a way to lose the weight beyond what we're already doing, I'll be sure to let you know! |

You should be losing the weight with all of your exerise. Maybe checking with your doctor, and having him run some blood work will help find out? |

Have you had your thyroid checked? My Dr. told me that you are prone to thyroid problems after pregnancy. It may be underactive. |

I was struggling with weight loss too, and so I started doing a lot of research. Basically it came down to math--you must burn 3,500 calories to lose 1 lb of fat. You should eat 100 calories for every pound you want to weigh. For instance if you want to weigh 130lbs, eat 1300 calories a day (unless you are breasfeeding, then eat 1800). |

Your hormones may be way off, that will keep you from losing weight, it sounds like you are doing everything right, I would go get my hormones checked, I personally use a progestrone cream, you can buy it online, revive wild yam cream, ask your doc about it tho, but it sounds lke it might be someting more, God Bless, |

I found out that the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn, as muscle burns fat even when you aren't doing anything! Try something with weights. Time to build up more muscle! |

Hi Crissy, I think your best course of action is to keep up with the exercise for sure! If all medical problems are ruled out, then I think the culprit might be your diet...Try not to eat anything but fruit and veg after 6 PM, if you want a drastic and lasting weight loss, buy dr.Fuhrman's Eat to Live book, it's an eye opener, I promise, it will surely help! Good luck x |

All I can say is polycystic ovarian syndrome. Get your hormones checked by a specialist. They found out I had it after I gained 30 pounds after having my son. My ovaries went so out of control I almost lost my ability to have children on my own. I am now due with my second child but this was after a whole entire year of metformin therapy and ovulation testing. I found out I was pregnant one week after meeting with a fertility specialist. I am just thankful I had a doctor that listened. Do some research on the internet and push for testing. Good luck!!! |

well it sounds like you are doing everything right. The only thing that i can think of telling you is make sure your heart rate stays up and that jogging is probably the fastest way to lose weight, i know some people don't like it but it burns off the weight so fast and i eat whatever i want, lol well that was pre-pregnancy, i don't know about post pregnancy. also continue weight training, situps or whatever you do. if worse comes to worse, you could try going to a gym to ask professionals or hire a trainer or something. |
