Hello anyone, I just came back from a sonogram, they have found that I have dilated 2.1/2 cm... My Doctor wants to see me back in 2 days. I was told to get rest, no lifting and no sex. Does this sound normal to anyone? Sometimes I feel my Doctor is not considering me a high risk. Prgnancy has gone well, but I am 45 years old..... Should a seek another opinion?

Hi Kathy, I would see a Fetal Medicine, Maternall Illness High Risk dr. They are specialists with all this and would be the best to deal with it all. Ask you ob for a referall. I hope all goes well and works out. Good luck.

Thanks lovemy3. My sonogram today was done a perinatolgist office. He told me to recheck with my regular OB on Wednesday. Is a Fetal Medicne Dr the same as a Perinatolgist?
