[Original Post]

I'm 45 and trying to conceive. I have given birth to four children already from previous marriage. I am ovulating and taking progestrone pills and suppositories to lengthen leutal phase. I have also taken clomid and estrogen tabs. I have tried to increase quality of cervical fluid with evening primrose and robitussin and we have even tried preseed. Running out of ideas and would appreciate any suggestions.

How long have you been ttc for? All those things you have mentioned are good ideas.

Boy, do I feel like a dummy. I, too, have given birth to four children from my first marriage, and just gave birth (6 months ago) to my fifth child (I'm in my second marriage). At no time did we do anything special to conceive. I've never even heard of any of the treatments you're talking about, and it all sounds rather complicated. Maybe you shouldn't try anything special, either.

Hi there .... you might want to elevate your hips with a cushion or a towel after bd'ing (not too high) and stay in bed for a whole 20mins or more ... to give a the little swimmers a boost (up the cervix) Good luck : )

Thanks for your responses. I have been ttc with the above mentioned remedies for six months now and it seems to me that it is worse as my temperature doesn't elevate very high anymore...I thought I should stop all treatments and just try to conceive normally again, but I'm thinking it may be too late for me to produce quality eggs. I haven't tried to elevate my hips yet and it sounds like a good idea...I will try it. ConfuseD....you said you gave birth six months ago, how old are you? I'm ready to give up...I don't want to...but, I don't know how much longer I can go through the disappointment each month.
