Hi girls, I'm 36 and expecting my first baby. I'm currently 9 wks and everything is going great, however in my 12th wk I have to go get a nuchal translucency done (I chose this over the amnio) but I'm curious to know exactly how's its done. Is is the same as a level II sonogram? Has anyone had it done?

no, it's not the same as a level ii. It's just a regular u/s that measures the nuchal fold at that time. There's alot of info about it on the web that you can look up, and you should also ask your doctor more about it. It's an indicator only.
