Hi... I had read your post on the nuchal translucency screening test result thread and was wondering how far along your were at the time of the post? and did you decide on going through with the amnio? I'm in a similar situation and I have my amnio scheduled for tomorrow morning and I'm still teetering on my decision on whether or not to go through with it.... any advice?

hi DL - i am not laurie - but i know her story well. as it is similar to mine. she did the NT scan at the right timing between 11 - 13 wks and YES she did have an amnio - and all came back well. i am so happy for her! -- i had 2 m/c's last year and also did the NT and all came back well (i also did the accompanying bloodwork with it - which helped adjust the numbers - because over 37 the numbers are against you to begin with ) -- and chose not ot do the amnio based on our results of the NT scan -- one of my babies last year was a trisomy baby so i was really scared. --- how far along are you? good luck with your decision! -- laurie can tell yuo more about the amnio and her other news. . . . . .
