Hello All:
I am a first time mom to be at the age of 38! I am at 6-7 weeks now!I have taken 3 HCG Levels test. The first reading was 9,000, the second was 11,000 and the last was 13,000. My doctor is telling me that my pregnancy may not be viable because the levels did not increase by 50%. She is stating that the level should now be at 16,000. Should I be concerned that I may lose my baby? My u/s is schedules for tomorrow. I had one two weeks ago, I used the bathroom on 8/11 and when I wiped there was watery pink blood but that was the only time I saw blood! The Dr said that tomorrow I should see a baby.....if not.....then??????
I am so nervous!!!!!

I've heard that hcg levels that don't increase enough can signal an issue, but it is not a given. Lots of people spot and bleed a little in the early phases. How did your appt go?

Hello Ann1....Today the appt went well. I did see a baby. The doctor said that I am at 6wks1day. There was no heartbeat. Doctor scheduled me for next week and said that we should hear the heartbeat next week or the week after so I am still praying that our baby will be fine!! Thanks for your reply!
