Several years, naturally, charted for ages and quit in frustration with opk's here and there and a temp or two around O time sometimes, a few head stands - really, but they didn't do the job - mostly gave up while 39, got completely pissed at last period before 40, then, shock me, missed the next period and am due tomorrow. |

It took us 10 months. I am 42. We consulted a fertility clinic, and I decided to consult an acupuncturist and herbalist who specialized in infertility. I went 2x/wk. I also decided to take on a project that forced me to not focus on my fertility. I took up training for a 1/2 marathon, which forced me to look at my nutrition and fitness level too. I did a lot a reading about maximizing my fertility. The most helpful was by a Dr. Greene who discussed hormone levels and fertility. As we were start a round of hyper-ovulation, I found out that we are pregnant. I am still in my first trimester, but we did it! Good luck. |
