wow, what a great thread! i feel so good just reading everyone's good thoughts. i am also happy - i am 44, just starting week 13 and this is my first. i've been so fortunate to have no negative symptoms - no morning sickness, no exhaustion, no mood swings. i live in germany and my boyfriend is in the states, but we talk every night on the phone and i hold the phone over my bellly so he can say a few words to the little one. that always makes me smile!

I am excited bc its finally my fave weather...sunny, warm and time for my garden to grow!! And Im 29wks and counting the days til I meet my little girl!

because .................... Miriana Rose arrived on Wednesday 25th April at 8.30pm. She was a 9.5 pounder (whopper!!) and 55cm long. Incredible!

Thank you Kristin, Perl and Christa for your lovely thoughts. Miriana is a joy (even with constant trips to the changing table and only being able to type one-handed while the other arm goes dead with her weight!!!). Some sort of schedule is beginning to emerge now, which is good, and I even managed a shower today!!! Hooray! Tomorrow is bath day for her too and all the washing is done so we're a clean family at the moment!! My mum arrives on Wedsfor 2 weeks so that will be a great help and we can start to use the cloth diapers which I've postponed until we have the extra pair of hands. Anyway, must go - M is wriggling too much. Love to you all!! XOXOXOXOX

congrats to hopeful! i am feeling great today becuase it is mother's day, and as a "mother-to-day" for me, i am celebrating, too. had a doctor appt last wedesday and the ultrasound showed 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs and a spine. and a tiny vibrating heart. i'm past 1st trimester and continuing to feel great. happy mother's day to all the mothers and mothers to be!

because..................my darling daughter is learning to smile, gurgles a lot and is the light of our lives. What joy! We're going on our first little holiday on Sunday and I can' t wait to show her a different part of the world. Sleepless nights are soon forgotten when I see her gorgeous face in the morning! Your right Hopeful! We all have some positive thoughts even through all our worries! My children make me feel so blessed! Now I have three beautiful smiles in my home. Talk about a heart filled with happiness when I look into the eyes of my children. Each day brings many wonderful moments. When I nurse my two month old he holds my finger and gazes into my eyes, my sixteen month gave me the most beautiful smile when I was so tired I wished I could have a nap. He gave me the energy to keep going. MY 14 year old now runs with my and we have some great conversations every night. How lucky am I!!!

I am feeling awesome, thankful and great beause we are finally blessed with a BFP !!

............because every day is a joy. Especially when it starts with my DD looking up at me, smiling a huge grin and kicking her arms and legs about in sheer excitement at what the day is going to bring. Fabulous! Innocence at its absolute best. I just love this experience and am so looking forward to every new moment of it! Wonderful wonderful wonderful!! What about the rest of you????????????????????????? Can't believe this thread is on the second page - that shouldn't ever happen coz I KNOW that there are some really happy people out there who are BURSTING to share their good news!!!!!!!! Mine? Well, suffice it to say that every day is a joy with my DD. Every time she smiles I light up inside and I can't wait til she wakes up in the morning coz I miss her so much at night. A most amazing and wonderful experience which I am grateful for every minute!

I'm feeling good because I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my second. We received great results from our CVS test and everything looks good. I'm so excited because it's another girl! I wanted to write today because I've had other pregnancy failures and I wanted everyone to know there is hope!

because.................... my DD has fought off the worst of her first virus and I'm really proud that my breastmilk has given her such sturdy antibodies. Great stuff! She is such a beautiful little person - inside and out - and I have such high hopes for her but my main wish is that she's healthy. Me and DH are truly blessed.
