Hi!
I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been on medication for a week now because I was experiencing pre term labor contractions. My doctor is trying his best to get me to 36 weeks, but last night I had my "bloody show." I called my doctor and he said to call back when I am having contractions.
Does the bloody show mean I will be going into labor very soon? within days or hours? Or is it possible I might make it to 36 weeks?

Check out for yourself on the internet, but from what I have read women can lose their mucus plug at week 30 and nothing happens for another 10 weeks! So if you have no contractions then...well labor is not around the corner. Good luck!

hi dogmom, with my first daughter i lost the mucus plug a little over a week before she came. it sounds like you have a bit of a history now or preterm contractions so maybe for you it is a sign that you are getting much closer. pay close attention to the cues your body is giving you, but with luck you might still hold out a bit. don't panic if your little one does decide to come, though... those little ones are tough!
