I was just reading on the open question page that someone had a laparoscopy 16 days ago to remove adhesions and a cyst and was wondering when to try to conceive. It was recommended two weeks with proteciton. I to had the same surgery on October 25th, I also tried before realizing the waiting period. My concern is that my last period was on Oct. 6th and I still have not had one. I also had an fsh level of 2.5 - 5.5 before surgery and now it is about 70! I am terrified something happened during surgery. I am 44 years old and now being told ovarian failure. Could it be that my ovaries are in a state of shock from the surgery as suggested. If so how long will it take for them to heal? Did we make a mistake by trying? Please need answers right away.
