My HSG was this morning and looks like my left tube is blocked, but the right side is open. Not sure what this means for our chances yet. My next appointment is on the 28th. I hope the injectables will help.

tooth fairy - Sorry I have been MIA I had jury duty for the past 2 days and I was off work on Monday and I only worked a half a day on Tuesday. I am in the 2ww as well I am cd 19/7dpo. I agree I hope someone get a BFP.

growingstjc - Thank you for sending some baby dust my way. I am in the 2ww and I should get AF between Jan 26-28 and I can test on Jan 25 so far according to fertility friend I am 7 temps above my coverline so I think this is good but I know I can have a implantation dip between 6-10dpo is this correct? I only have one tube open as well and I think the injectables will work. I can't wait to hear what your doctor has planned. Have a nice weekend. Krissy68

Yes about the implantation dip, I understand it can happen around 7 - 10 dpo. So you might see that any time now. Good luck.

growingstjc - I am now so confused on what dpo I am I got my + on the opk on cd 12 so at first fertility friend said that was my o day then it changed it to cd 15 and now I am 6dpo so I am just hanging out to see if I am or not, right about now I am thinking I have a 50/50 chance so far I have 5 days above the coverline and 1 day below. gowingstjc- I'm hoping that things will still be ok to ttc with the blocked tube. Did they unblock it during the procedure? Will be praying for some positive news for you. Krissy68- I tried using opk's and I never can figure them out. I go by cm now. What brand do you use? I wish there was something that could tell us the exact day. We'd probably be pg by now. I'm on cd 22 so were doing 2ww together.Good luck ladies and keep me posted!!

tooth fairy - Hey girlie how are you doing? I have used the opk's from the internet, dollar store and Answer brand. I am so sick of fertility friend it just keep changing my ovulation date. So I have either ovulated on cd 12 which is the day that I got my first positive to cd 15. I am currently on cd 23/8 or 12 dpo but I guess I will go with the 8dpo I just know I should get AF around the 27th of Jan. I will keep you posted and you do the same. Krissy68

Krissy68- I just found out 2 more people that I know are pg. I just wonder what their doing. These people are younger and older than me. Its just frustrating when your doing everything right but no pg. Sorry I'm being negative, but I needed to vent. Ok, I'm done sulking. I'm on cd 24 and hoping af don't show!! I can't even remember any pg signs (ds is 8 yrs old) except the obvious absent af. I'm keeping fx for us both this cycle. Talk to you soon- Tammy

Toothfairy - I don't think they tried to unblock my tube during the HSG. I didn't know they could do that. I hope they still want to try injectables with me after this. I have my next appointment on the 28th. Thanks for the prayers - I think I need them.

Krissy - Sorry about FF changing your dates, how can they do that? I hope you get that BFP this month. I tried OPKs once - used the digital one (can't remember the name) - but you get a smiley face instead of lines and it was easy to read.

tooth fairy - How are you doing? You know you can vent anytime you need to. I just notice that we are a day a part on our cd. When is AF due for you? Mines should be her between Jan 26-28 I am also 9dpo my cycles are normally 29-30 days long. Are you doing anything to keep your mind from wondering. As for me I'm doing nothing just trying not to think about it I have 7 days left. Good Luck to you as well and I will talk to you soon.

gowingstjc - Hey girl how are you doing? I know whenever you have a HSG and one or both tubes are block they can normally force the dye through and that will open the tubes up if that don't work then you can have a minor outpatient surgury not sure what it is called. Keeping fingers cross for you. Let us know how the doctors appointment go you go on the day that fertility friend said I can take the hpt. Also you know how they say once you get a positive on the opk you will ovulate between 12-36 hours if that is the case then I guess cd 15 would be my ovulation day. Talk to you soon.

Hey ladies here is my daily little update. I am on cd 24/9dpo and for some reason dh is still wanting to bd go figure. I have 7 days exactly until AF is suppose to start and my temp went up just a tab bit from yesterday 98.41 to 98.45 I guess this is a good sign and if I wanted to test 5 days early I could do this on Friday Jan 23 and I would be cd 26/11dpo but my offically AF start date should be on Jan 27 my cycles are normally 29-30 days long and I can officially take my hpt on Jan 28 and I will keep you updated. Well that bitch came yesterday! I was 4 days late again. I'm not sure whats next. Thinking of doing Femara. Is cd3-7 or cd 5-9 the best days to take it? gowingstjc- How was your appt? tooth fairy - I'm so sorry and join me as well the bitch got me too she came 2 days early and I am so pissed off. I do go and see the gyn (well the nurse practioner) he is going out of town for 3 weeks so I told them I wanted to see who was feeling in for him I will let you know what the next step will be. Toothfairy and Krissy - So sorry AF showed up, she showed for me too on Thursday.
Toothfairy - I have never taken Femara, so I can't help you with the days it should be taken. Sorry.
Krissy - Good luck with the nurse practicioner. Make them get you going on some Clomid or Femara. Let us know how that goes for you.
Here is my update: My doctor appointment went well. They have not found anything wrong, my HCG number was 7.7 and I guess anything under 12 is good. My DH's sample came out ok too. So they are putting me on injectables starting Saturday ( I'm so nervous, I hate needles, like everyone). She is really giving me high doses to get things going. The only bummer is it sounds like my insurance will only pay for three months of this, so I guess it is now or never. In the third cycle she wants to try an IUI. For the first 2 cycles we are just doing it naturally ; ) She told me that they wouldn't surgically try to unblock my tube because of my age. So here it is.
Ladies - try to think of AF showing as a new chance at that little bundle we all want so badly. Take care and lots of baby dust to us all. Terri

gowingstjc - Hey girl how was the injectables and how long will you have to take them. Good Luck to you and I hope you only have to do this for one cycle. I was on clomid for awhile the last time I took it was for my September cycle but my dose was on 50mg so I might try the clomid again but a higher dose. I will let you know what she say. Hey Krissy, Have you heard from the doctor yet? I hope they give you some good advice. How is this month going for you?

I was supposed to start injectables on Saturday, but because I have 2 ovarian cysts my EN? hormone was 342 when it should have been below 50. So I have to sit out this month till it comes down (when the cysts dissolve?). Anyway, my DH and I are trying anyway without assistance. I am on cd7 and waiting to O. I am kinda bummed that I could not start this cycle, but they said that the high hormone would counteract the shots. Better to wait till things are perfect.
