Hey Krissy, Have you heard from the doctor yet? I hope they give you some good advice. How is this month going for you?

I was supposed to start injectables on Saturday, but because I have 2 ovarian cysts my EN? hormone was 342 when it should have been below 50. So I have to sit out this month till it comes down (when the cysts dissolve?). Anyway, my DH and I are trying anyway without assistance. I am on cd7 and waiting to O. I am kinda bummed that I could not start this cycle, but they said that the high hormone would counteract the shots. Better to wait till things are perfect.

gowingstjc - Hey girlie, I don't go to the doctor until tomorrow so one more day. I have been trying anyway just like all the other months. I am on cd 11 and I started using the opk test strip yesterday so I am just waiting to ovulate as well I have started bding. I am glad they are monitoring you and I hope the cycst go away ASAP. Hey ladies!! I've been working like a dog, but I need the money. I decided to take the femara. It was a rx I got and never used. It was going to expire this month so I decided to use it. My herbalist said its ok to use herbs with low stim meds. I'm on cd 9 so I might get some opk's and test this month. gowingstjc- Sorry you couldn't use injectables this month. What is EN? What hormone was 342? Krissy68- Good luck at your dr's appt tomorrow. Try to get as much info as you can. Baby dust ladies!! Hopefully we'll get a BFP this month!! Keep me posted!!

Hey ladies!!! Hope all is well. I'm on cd 15 and I got my surge today so I will be doing some bding tonight. I am also using a moxa pack that helps warm the uterus and supposedly make more follies. We'll have to see. I also did femara cd 5-9. I'm praying for a miracle this month. I'll keep you posted. Baby dust!!!

Hi Ladies, Sorry I have MIA for a while. Work is absolutely crazy right now and I am trying to start a good workout routine. So I don't settle down till very late anymore.

Toothfairy - Good luck this month, you must be in the 2 ww by now. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. The hormone EP was wrong, I should have written E2 or estradiol which is the blood level of estrogen. That was 342 and should have been below 50. Sorry, I can be dumb sometimes.

Krissy - When can you test? I hope you have some good news to report very soon. What did the doctor say?

I need some advice ladies. I am on cd18/9dpo and am starting to spot. I had a temp dip on 7dpo with a little spotting, but the spotting is getting heavier. Could this still be implantation spotting or am I just starting my period after only 2 and 1/2 weeks. I just know its my period. What does such a short cycle mean. The doc tested me and said I am not in menopause. Could the fibroids or the cysts be causing this. God I'm so disappointed. I don't know what to think. Thanks for letting me vent. gowingstjc - How are you doing? I'm not real sure but I would hope it is implantation bleeding I have never had this happen so I can't advise you but I really don't think it could be AF this soon. Is it real heavy or medium light? Keeping fingers cross. As for me I did test on V-Day I was 8dpo and it was Negative just like I knew it would be I wasn't upset I just did it because just something to do. According to fertility friend I can test on Sunday Feb 22 and I should start AF betweeb Feb 22 -23, I will let you know. I have 11 days above my coverline and this is the first I will keep you posted because if my temp start going down then I know she will be knocking. I just got off the phone with my doctor office and the insurance wants additional information I don't know what that means so I am still at square one. Hey Krissy - Your temps sound real promising. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope you get that insurance stuff straightened out soon. What a pain that can be. I do not know what is really happening with me. My temps have been irratic lately since I have been sick all week and not sleeping well. I think I am still above the cover line, but they seem to be dropping. Today I am 14 dpo and should be seeing AF soon, but the spotting last week was strange, very light and pink and brown. I never spot in the middle of a cycle, so I am hopeful it was implantation spotting. I plan to test tomorrow. I have tested a couple of times already and gotten BFNs.

Keep those temps up and here is to a BFP for both of us. Take care girl, Terri

gowingstjc - Hey girlie, how are you doing? how are them temps going? Keeping my fingers and toes cross that you get your bfp tomorrow. You are my cycle buddies but I guess you can get ready to count me out because my temp have went way down below the coverline from yesterday cd 26/13dpo it was 98.33 and today cd 27/14dpo it is 97.94 so AF should be here between now and Sunday if and only if my temp go back up will I test tomorrow you know I will let you know what the outcome is. Any plans for the weekend?

Hey ladies I wanted to share my newest update to the whole group. First off how is everybody doing? What are the plans for the weekend? I am keeping everyone in my thoughts, hopes, and prayers that you all get some BFP on either the opk or hpt. Anyway I got a call yesterday from my family dr. saying that the insurance company approved my referal to the fertility dr. I was soo happy but now I am scared. As you all know I am 40 and they are saying I could be at the end of my journey but they are going to try but my income is very very limited so we shall see I am asking each and everyone of you to please say a prayer for me. Here is the low down on the insurance I mind as well not have any. My first visit is going to cost me $80 my insurance will pay 50%, then she said the dr will want a SA on my fiance and that will cost $140 and they do it there so I guess that is good we don't have to go outside I wonder will he have to do it on his first visit I hope so that way we can get it over with. She also said that if I do the IUI with injectable it is going to cost me $2,000 for just the medicine along and if I do the IVF it will cost me $4,000 so I already know IVF is out for me. Then she went on to say that if I have to have a Hysteroscopy (look inside your uterus and the opening of the tubes) that by itself will cost me 650.00 and for general anesthesia will cost me 525.00 so far this is going to cost me 3,395.00 I did ask her why can't my regular gyn perform this procedure and send the results to them she said she guess it could be done but not sure if the speacilist will go for so you girls already know I will be asking that question. Also I am currently on cd 27/14dpo and my temp went way down from yesterday 98.33 to97.94 and I already know AF will be here before the end of the weekend which is fine with me. They want me to have some blood work done on either cd 2 or 3 my choice they are checking my FSH and E2 and they have requested my lab report from the gyn back in June 08 so they can have something to go by. My family dr gave me the lab slip just in case AF show today and they also told me which this is the first that if I start AF between 4-5pm then the next day is considered cd 1 so I have been tracking my period all a long wrong go figure. So Monday or Tuesday I should be having some blood work done. My first appointment will be on March 2 at 2:30pm unless they have a cancellation next week keeping my fingers cross that they do. Hey Krissy, What Insurance do you have, shouldn't they be paying more than that? I have been paying some here and there, but no where near that much. I have HAP HMO. Guess they are not as bad as I thought. Good luck with all of your blood work and testing. I know things will work out for you very soon.

As for me - FF changed my chart and now does not recognize any ovulation yet. I don't know what is happening, I got a BFN today, so I guess that spotting a couple of weeks ago was just that and not implantation spotting. I am just waiting for my AF to show now so I can go back to RE for testing and possibly start my injectables.

Even though everyone around is pg or just popped out a baby. I'm on cd 27 and feeling ok. Been a little crampy for the past week. Expect af tomorrow or Weds.
gowingstjc- What does FF do? Help with charting? I have heard of it but never tried it. Sounds like its not working for you. What went wrong? Sorry you got a BFN but maybe its too early to test. What cd are you on? I'll be praying for you!!
Krissy68- Honey it sounds like your going through hell with your insurance. Insurance pays for things that people don't really need but when you need other things your shelling out tons of cash. It should be like dental and give you a certain amount to do whatever you want. Are you getting your meds through a pharm or online? I got mine online from London. They are cheaper than in the states. What is the Hysteroscopy really for? I'll be crossing my fingers for you. Good luck ladies and I'll be keeping you posted!!

I am doing okay just that time of month and I am cramping really bad and I wish I would have stayed home today for real but I am trying to save my sick and vacation time. I have PacifiCare Insurance and it is a HMO and they cover 50% and I can have 3 IUI per life time what does this means? They will not cover any of my injectable medicine at all so that is where it will become real pricey for me I think. Do you know where I can purchase the injectalbe medicine or do you know of someone who is will to donate their meds if they have any left over. I need all the help I can get. I started AF on Saturday which I knew she would be here because my temp nose dive on Friday so I was prepared and happy to tell the truth since I knew I would be going to the fertility dr. I wish I would have gotten my referal earlier so I could see the dr this week but as it stands I don't see him until next Monday unless someone cancel so please say a prayer and keep your fingers cross that they cancel. I did do my blood work this morning they are checking my FSH and E2 level. Can you explain this to me? What are good numbers? The good thing I don't have to pay for my blood work. I will keep you upated.

Can you give me the information on the online pharmacy and how do/did you pay for it? How long did it take you to get your medicine? Do you live in the states? Do you or do you know of anyone who will donate their left over meds or sell them to me? If you would like to email me on my private email that will be fine as well. Krissy68- FSH day 3 norm. is 3- 20. Above 10-12 may mean your ovaries are starting to fail. Mine has been as low as 11 and as high as 19. E2 norm.is 25-75. They like 30or higher on this. The website where I purchased my meds was double u, double u, double u dot ivfmeds dot com. My re gave me the website and you will need a rx from your doctor to purchase them. I think they came pretty fast. You can pay extra for rush delivery. The shipping is pretty high but way less altogether for your meds. I paid for it with a credit card or you could probably use a debit card also. I haven't purchased anything for a year and a half but I hear the prices haven't gone up that much. I live on Ohio. I don't know of anyone who will sell meds. I would a little scared to do that unless I knew the person. Good luck and make sure you ask your re about getting your meds from there.

Also thank you about the numbers for the FSH and E2. Now let me see if I understand you correctly my FSH should be between 3-20? E2 should be between 25-75? I'm waiting on the phone as I am typing this for the nurse to get me the results.... Well she just got back on the phone and said they did get my labs back but it is on the dr desk and he will not be in until tomorrow to review it and then they will fax it to the RE the cow wouldn't give me the numbers so I have to wait until tomorrow so I will let you know. She did say they will faxed it over as soon as the dr sign off on it. I hope AF don't show her ugly face I am on cd 6 and she have be light the past 2 days. Well ladies the bitch reared her evil head yesterday. Feeling defeated as usual. I don't know why I get my hopes up so high. I'm going to see my best friend for a few days in Cleveland. I'll be able to vent,cry and eat lots of ice cream!! I'll try to check in (my friend doesn't have a computer).
