Is it possible to get pregnant if you have some symptoms of menopause?

I have missed by period for 2 months now and have been experiencing naseau for the last 3 weeks. I do get hot flashes, so could it be menopause or should I do a pregnancy test?

Please help!!!

Hi Loralai, Yes..it is very possible..because eventhough you are skipping periods, you could and probably are still releasing eggs. Maybe not in the months you have skipped but the months that you do have a period. I would definitely do a pregnancy test. There have been many cases where women have become pregnant while approaching menopause or experiencing menopausal symptoms. Best of luck.. By the way..How old are you?

I am 46 years old. I thought it was the menopause symptoms that were making me naseaus. I guess it would'nt hurt to do a pregnancy test.

Thank you for your response
