Positive Test And Then A Negative One The Next Day?

I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it was definitely positive. Went to the lab today, and the urine test was clearly negative? Has this happened to someone?

Maybe your home pregnancy test was more sensitive. Some of the tests on the markets are early detectors, and can detect really low levels. The lab should have done a blood test, that would have given you (and them) a better idea. I would test again with another home test, and see. If you are positive again, then I would believe that result and go back to the doc in a week or so.

Hi Kirby - I unfortunately had that happen to me 2 weeks ago. I had 2 positive home tests on two different days, and then on the 3rd day I got a negative one. The following day my period started. I guess I had an early miscarriage - at what was 5 weeks. Hope it doesn't happen to you... Best of luck!
