Possible Vanishing Twin Or Blighted Ovum?

At 12dpo my beta was 34 & 14dpo my beta was 104. So, I started spotting this past Fri & passed some clots on Sun. So, I go in for an u/s on Mon, 1/26/09 5 weeks preg, (nothing there on the u/s) and had another beta draw. The dr said it might just be too early to see anything on the u/s. I'm not cramping, I'm not flowing, just spotting. So, I got my beta results back. On Mon, my numbers were 771. I go in for my second beta Wed. They didn't double like they're supposed to. They only went up to 849. I went in for another beta today & it went up to 929. Could this be a vanishing twin syndrome? I thought it might also be a blighted ovum.
