Pregnant And Asthmatic

I am 37 years old and pregnant with my third child. I got sick with bronchitis, and now my dr. says my asthma has been aggravated - he wants me to take 50mg of prednisone! I have not taken it yet, but it has been weeks, and my asthma is not getting better..anyone ever take prednisone while pregnant?

No, but I have taken albuterol which is supposedly safe. Is your doctor one in the same with your ob? If not, confirm it with your ob that it's safe. 50mg sounds like a small dose..
