Hello Everyone!

Kristin - Thanks for the new thread! I, too, am confused about my dd, but I keep forgetting to double check w/my dr. I will try to remember this Friday.

Krissy - I need to continue the shots my entire pregnancy.

Aspen - I am glad to hear it went well. Go Eagles!!

Krissy68 - January 18th, 2009 4:13 PM

JuliaB - I'm sorry that you will have to take them pesty shots but hey we will do what we have to do to have a successful pregnancy. How are you feeling? Rub your belly for me. Krissy68

Hi Ladies quick question for anyone taking Promentrium. Did anyone get Dizzy Spells? I could attribute this to the pregnancy but have had these Dissy spells since I started taking the progesterone b4 pregnancy symptoms would have set in. I meant to mention this b4 but forgot.
Krissy I just wanted to ask you have.. you had any high spikes in your temps. It seems to me with my preggo cycles I would have like an extra high spike. For example I take mine in celsius but b4 O temps are like 32.1, 32.2 then after "O" temps are 36.5 36.6 then all of sudden 36.9. I have maintained taking my temp even while pregnant and they have not been less then 36.7. (sorry for the celsius) but that is how I take mine.
Anyway regardless I wish everyone the best of luck in their DPO's Hoping for sticky little fertilized eggs!!!!

tryingx3 - January 19th, 2009 12:15 PM

Kristin72 - YES, the Prometrium will make you feel that way - like if you bend over to pick up something - you come back up - going whoa, whoa, whoa. I had problems with my throat itching while on it, was tested for peanut allergy - as you can't take it if you are allergic to peanuts, came back fine...but they wouldn't let me take it anymore and I went with pharmacy compounded progesterone - NO dizziness with those...just messy. :-)

tryingx3 - January 19th, 2009 12:18 PM

JuliaB - when was your lmp? Mine was 12/12...which puts me behind both of you guys. Still waiting for some symptoms...although I will say I felt FANTASTIC through most of my pg with my dd.

Kristin72 - January 19th, 2009 6:17 PM

Thanks Trying! I have felt this off and on for weeks. btw..how did it go telling your MIL the good news?
How is everyone else today?

Aspen8 - January 20th, 2009 11:32 AM

OOOPS. I missed the new thread. All I have time to do today is to copy and paste my quick little posts from yesterday and today into this new thread.

YESTERDAY:

KRISSY - I'm 14dpo today so AF is due Wednesday. If my RE doesn't change the plan at all, I'll take Femara days 4-8, have my HSG somewhere around day 8, and have the IUI somewhere between cd13 and cd16 depending on ultrasound and bloodwork and OPK results. I'm reading to try something new. I hope this is your cycle, Krissy!

KRISTIN - A new thread sounds good. You're our official thread-starter...go for it. Lol. (You'd already started the new one when I typed that. Lol.)

EVERYONE - Just a quick hello today. Busy, busy day. I have many mourning activities planned since my beloved Eagles lost yesterday. I'm already late for my screaming and tearing my clothes session and I haven't even FOUND my sack cloth and ashes yet. By the time I get around to shallow wrist slitting I'm going to be hopelessly behind schedule. Have a great day everyone. Talk to you soon.

TODAY:

Another quick hello. I'm 15dpo today and AF should arrive tomorrow. I got a call this morning that my pap and my mammogram were normal, so that's a good way to start the day. Have a great day.

Krissy68 - January 20th, 2009 1:36 PM

Kristin72 - I am not real sure if I had a spike or not. I am just going to keep taking my temps. I am currently on cd 23 and fertility friend have me so confused. I got my first positive on the opk on cd 12 first it said this was my ovulation day then they changed it to cd 15 saying this is my ovulation day so I guess I am either 12dpo or 8dpo. I just know I am suppose to start on Jan 27 since my cycles have been 29 days and I got this last AF on Dec 29. I will keep you posted. How are you feeling?

Aspen8 - Hey girlies how are you doing. You always make me laugh. I am so excited for you getting ready to start the IUI. Sorry about your Eagles. Krissy68

Both sets of parents know - my MIL is giddy, FIL told us thank you for the good news (man of few words), my mother cried, my dad was just about as giddy as my MIL. I am getting anxious for Thursday. Was BLOATED yesterday, woke up EXTREMELY dry mouthed again in the middle of the night - I hope that isn't a blood sugar sign. Best wishes girls!

Kristin72 - January 20th, 2009 8:06 PM

Trying that's great news..glad everyone was very happy!! As for the dry mouth thing..That is definitely a pregnancy symptom. It is best to have a glass of water beside your bed for those times during the night when you need to wet your wistle. This does however add to the frequent trips the the bathroom..another pain in the arse..but hey whose complaining. I have two days until my ultrasound..
Hope everyone else is doing great. I told a friend today of my pregnancy..I kinda felt bad cause she like I, just suffered a loss recently. She has had 2 IUI's she has one child but went into preterm labour for both..One survived the other did not. She also fell pregnant for the first time on her own at 41..but lost it after 9 weeks. I am going to see her Friday.
Talk to you all soon

I told my brother last night - hard to do as well - they had a son who was born with Downs Syndrome - he is 6 months younger than my dd. He is 5 years older than I am (as is his wife)...I think they would like to try again too, but age, money, experience, all have them weary. It is scary for me too, not knowing if that is another "marker" for us or if it is just something that happened to them. Don't get me wrong their son is doing great and is a JOY in their life - but it is hard when we get together and I watch my brother watch my dd as she "puts on a show".

Aspen8 - January 21st, 2009 11:22 AM

Good Morning ladies. I'm 15dpo today and right on cue my temp nosedived. I'd been thinking that maybe I was off a day because my temp was still up...hadn't gone halfway down like it usually does. But it just decided to do it all at once this month, I guess. AF should start today though, which is a good thing. CD1 of my first IUI cycle. It's good to start moving forward again.

KRISSY - I'm beginning to adjust to the whole NOT-going-to-the-Super-Bowl thing. Thanks. Lol.

Kristin72 - January 21st, 2009 1:46 PM

Aspen, I think exciting and promising things are in store for you this next cycle. With an IUI in waiting..this is definitely your most promising cycle yet. I am so hopeful for you..I know it is going to work for you!!!

COL - January 21st, 2009 3:05 PM

Hello ladies, I hope you do not mind me joining you, I have been reading your stories and following up on you progress for a while. Some of you might remember me, Kristine and tryingx.
For those who don’t know me, I am 44 years old a mother of a 14 months old boy. We are thinking of having another one, we hope it will happen. We are not really active towards it yet. I would like to join you ladies and be part of your journeys. Good luck to all of you.
Congratulations to the pregnant women in this thread and I wish you all the best.

Kristin72 - January 21st, 2009 4:49 PM

Welcome COL! and yes of course I remember you. I do remember you conceiving naturally after a loss. I wish you all the best on your journey to ttc again.

tryingx3 - January 21st, 2009 4:51 PM

Hi COL. We weren't actively doing much of anything - ha ha! Due to my husband's travel schedule we only have a few months in the ttc window we "hope" to work in...we were lucky and hit just on time. My body is pretty predictable and my cm gave me NO DOUBT signs - almost exactly mid-cycle. We have always been a fertile bunch of women - on my Mom's side... Best wishes. Hey Aspen - maybe you can start thinking about baseball - pitchers and catchers report soon. :-) I am SO nervous! Earlier today I couldn't figure it out, then, duh - you are worrying about your u/s tomorrow - ya big goof!
