Hello Ladies, I hope you don't mind me starting a new thread..that other one was getting long.. I don't really have too much to report. All seems ok..just counting down the days till my testing this coming Thursday. I pray everything is still ok. I can only hope for the best!! I have had sporatic spotting but I am not too alarmed with that. I am so very tired. I just wish i had more energy. How is everyone else doing?

jayjaysmom - February 23rd, 2009 8:01 PM

Hello everybody! Good luck on Thursday Kristin, let us know how it goes. I am cd8 today, taking bbt and awaiting some opks that I ordered of the internet. Planning to start using those around day 12 if they get here by then. I o'd on day 17 last month so that should be okay. I am taking b6, prenatal vitamin, baby aspirin and calcium daily.
Aspen- how are you? Are you still waiting for AF, did you test again?

Kristin72 - February 24th, 2009 9:15 AM

Hi jayjaysmom, Sounds like you have got all your supplements covered. Were you precribed baby asprin or are you just taking it on your own? the reason I ask is I told my specialist I was taken baby asprin and she told me to go off them unless it was determined I have a clotting issue. Just thought I mention that. I have read other places it can make a blood rich environment fo rthe egg to implant..but then other places suggest it can posssibly cause early miscarriage if you do not need it. Have you thought about the evening primrose..I took that and fell pregnant 4 times ;)
Aspen, how is your cycle moving? Did your af show up? Have you taken another hpt? ;)
Let's get the updates moving againl adies!!!
Julia, Hope you are doing ok..you are in my thoughts.

jayjaysmom - February 24th, 2009 8:58 PM

Kristin-
Thanks so much, I was not consistently taking the aspirin but will definitely not take it now. I started taking it for heart health prior to ttc. I bought the EPO today, i just was not sure where to get, then saw it walmart. Hopefully, it will be the ticket. I am so glad you have made it to the 12 weeks!! Where is Aspen? I am so wondering how she is doing.

Kristin72 - February 25th, 2009 5:19 PM

jayjaysmom, with the EPO (evening primrose) start taking it after your af is done 2-3 times a day up until ovulation. Then stop taking it you can continue with fish oil supplements if you wish. But for me I did not bother. I don't really no if it helps but it can't hurt and is good for you. It is suppose to naturally help with your cm. I use to take in the morning with my prenatal etc..and then after dinner if I knew I was going to bed.
My NT scan and bloodwork are tomorrow. Wish me luck ladies..I am nervous as heck..but hoping for the best of course. The babies heartbeat has consistently been around 174..One morning it was 165. So atleast the little bean is beating away!!
Talk to you all soon!..

dropped by to say hi, o, it's me babykissed me, lol.

mannoulla - February 25th, 2009 10:04 PM

yay on the heartbeat!

JuliaB - February 26th, 2009 6:45 AM

Kristin - Good Luck today! I am sure it is going to be a good visit.

Krissy68 - February 26th, 2009 1:17 PM

Kristin72 - Thanks for starting a new thread and I almost posted on Part 9. How did the test go today? Thinking about you.

jayjaysmom - Did your opk test strips show up? Keeping my fingers cross for you this cycle. Take care.

babykiss - Are you changing names? The coverage I have is 50% they will cover they will not cover any injectable medicines. My first visit is going to be $80. I know I will be asking them all types of questions and the main one is going to be if they have to do any major type stuff then send me back to the gyn because that way I know my insurance will pay for it 100% and all I would have to do is pay the copay. I plan on getting the most out of my insurance I will keep you posted I will also be asking about donated medicine or if they have samples or medicine I can buy and 1/2 price. Now you were saying go to the classified section and see what's out there are you talking about this wedsite or is it another one. I will wait and see what the course of action will be. I will be on cd 10 when I see the RE so this month might just be a bust but at lest I will be prepared for April cycle and if I have to get any meds I will have enough time to get the medicine and not be stressing over it. I am going to ask about taking a higher dose of clomid and doing injectable what do you think? You know I will keep you all posted on what is going on. How is it going with you? Krissy68

Hello Ladies, My scan was good. With a NT of 1.4mm (Anything under 2 is great) The CRL was 53mm and the BPD was 18mm. I know crl is crown rump length. Not sure what bpd is? Anyway the radiologist said everything looked great. In fact the baby was very active flipped from back to front was kicking and putting it's hands near it's mouth. My dh commented that we were going to be in trouble as we got another crazy one. I am relieved so far. Apparently,I will have my results for the blood work as well by Monday, so I will let you know if everything still is ok. I feel relieved the NT was low.. that is one less thing to worry about..atleast for now. They also moved up my DD to Sept 7th. They said the baby is showing larger growth by 5 days then my actual 11w5d. This new DD is clase to my own birthday sept 4th. Hope everyone is doing great..have heard from alot of you in a while. xo

jayjaysmom - February 26th, 2009 9:15 PM

Krissy- the opk strips I ordered from the fertility shop did not show up again today. They debited my account last Tuesday a week ago. So, my temp did a nose dive this am to 97.0 from 97.7 so I went to Walmart and bought the advance opks, only a very faint line. Sooooo....has anybody every used Instead Soft Cups. I just learned about them on the fertility shop today. I bought some at Walmart, they were only 6.00 for 14, I thought what the heck. Anybody know anything about them, quite an interesting concept. You have sex, put them in and they hold the sperm up close to your cervix OR your man can actually make a deposit in one and they you slip it in to hold close to your cervix. You can google Instead Soft Cups for ttc.
Kristin- AWESOME, one more hurdle met. You are my inspiration. Thanks for all your guidance and your reports. I will be off line all weekend, as I am going out of town. Will check in Sunday night. BABY DUST!!!

mannoulla - February 26th, 2009 11:23 PM

hi ladies!

lol, yep Krissy I wanted to change names...u can still call me babykiss.

The classified section I was referring to is on ovusoft.com web site. At least the last time I was there it was there. Women there, the sane kind ones, would donate their meds or at least sell very cheaply to each other.

I did read that clomid combined with injectables is less expensive. Women have gotten pregnant on that regimen and also the combo of both can keep the clomid from drying you up and possibly thinning the lining.

More great news Kristin, yay!

Aspen where are you?

Hi everyone!

joellewantsababy - February 27th, 2009 1:04 PM

Let me just say... I think I have set a record with how many times 1 can pee in the middle of the night... feeding a baby every 2 hours? NOTHING TO IT. I THINK I PEED EVERY 20 MINUTES LAST NIGHT!! I miss sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

Krissy68 - February 27th, 2009 2:56 PM

Kristin72 - This is wonderful news and I am so very happy for you please keep us updated. Rub your belly for me.

jayjaysmom - Sorry the opk test strip haven't showed up. Sorry I can't help you with the cup because I have never used or heard of them but let me know how they work out.

mannoulla - Thanks for the information and I will check it out once I talk to the dr on Monday and I will let you know.

joellewantsababy - That's funny I remember them days getting woke up out of a deep sleep to go and pee.

Hey ladies here is a quick updated I got the results from the blood work please help. FSH 8.4 and E2 53. Talk to you soon. Krissy68

mannoulla - March 1st, 2009 5:44 PM

hi ladies!

Krissy, your FSH is considered good by doctors. They usually like to see less than 12, some less than 10. Your estrogen is less than 80 and they consider that good as well.

jayjaysmom - March 2nd, 2009 7:07 PM

I knew I should not have bought those OPK's. They are driving me crazy. I am cd 15 got a positive opk in the am for the last three am's but on afternoon tests they were negative. I read that you should test in afternoon as am tests could be falsely negative. Can they be falsely positive, that does not make sense? Another question: have you found that if you drink alcohol the night before your am temps will be higher?
How is everybody doing? Kristin- I saw that you got good results from your bloodwork on another message board. Good News!!
