Hi Kristin72 - I obssessed over HCG's also and wondered about my levels too. I googled HCG and there are quite a few good sites with the average HCG on any given day post conception. I am not sure what it should be after 2 days, but I would think pretty low, as some women don't even test positive yet for a pregnancy test. I think the range is pretty wide at this stage.

Well, mine was NOT normal. 2 days after period it was 2048! I think I ovulated early, though....the numbers vary greatly. It's more that they double after a few days than the number value.

Wow, That seems high! Luck you!..Mine was nowhere near that mine was 142. I have an apppointment next week with the doctor. They will tell me then if my levels are going up! Thankyou both for responding! Best of luck with your pregnancies !

Kristin, mine were about 142 about 1-2 days after missed af. I am just over 13 weeks now. If I calculated right, it would have been about 19 days past ovulation when I tested at that number...if that helps. Doubling is really the important part, but we still have to worry, don't we!! :-)

Hello Girls!! Well! I just got my second reading from my Hcg levels..The first being 142 on March 16th..On March 23rd my levels are 3141..yayayy! So they seem to be doubling every 48 hours now I am so happy!!Thanks for responding to me! Have my prenatal 1 on Monday will keep you posted !! XO Kristin

i duno but im 14 and i really want a baby do u know when before or after your period would be the best time to try

danielle- are you really 14? And if so, why on earth would you want a baby. You are a baby! For goodness sake you have your whole life ahead of you. Your body probably isn't even developed enough to carry a baby without severe complications. Please, talk to someone before you go and get pregnant.

I had a miscarriage 2 1/2 months ago. I found out Friday that I was definately pregnant agian. My hcg levels were at 90. That was 4 days past my missed period. It seems kind of low compared to some of the others. Is this bad? Should I be worried? I also have low progesterone...anybody know anthing about that?

Dixie, numbers can vary depending on when you ovulated...are they going to repeat to verify they are increasing as they should? You can search internet for HCG levels and find that there is a very wide range for "normal". Best wishes.

mine were 368 at 2 days missed period with my last pregnancy

I will have my hcg and progesterone checked again tomorrow. I have to assume that things are going well, I began morning sickness on Sunday and can no longer stand tight clothing (not even my fat jeans!). According to the pregnancy calendars on the internet, I'm 6 weeks today. We will see on Friday morning. Thanks for your response!

Dixie, Best of luck with your test tomorrow..I too started out with low numbers 142 at a 16 dpo's..but they seemed to elevate quite nicely after that. I am 8 weeks today so that means I am in my 9th week so they say. I have another appointment with my GP on Monday and then the following week with the Gyno. Keep us posted!

Thanks Kristen! I got my numbers back yesterday afternoon. My hcg is 1672...yehaw! My progesterone was only 12.54, after being on the vaginal suppositories for a week they were hoping it would rise more than that so I had to go get a shot yesterday. I'm still thrilled, they tell me that all is well and definately looks much better than last time. I'm 6 1/2 weeks now....My first appointment is on May 1 and they will be doing an ultra sound. What an awesome scrapbook moment!
