hi im new to this so hope al goes well haha. im 39 with 2nd child bt a different husband, wen i had my blood test it came back as 1 in 50 of downs, they wanted me to have a amino bt as my partner is 27 and his first child he is against me having one as he is scared we will loose it, i was sterilized 6 years ago and had the operation rev april of this year so i got caught in july which was good. so have any of you had pressure from doctors about amino test. im just worried as hell now as i dont know wot to do girls.

I wouldn't say there was pressure, the docs just recommended amnio. I myself wanted to know everything badly, so I did it, with no problems, first at almost 39, second at 40. There is negativity about amnios, but it was pretty easy with me. The chance of miscarrying from amnio is very small, though it did happen to people.
