I just turned 36 and had my "tubes tied" after the birth of our son 7yrs ago. My husband and I are seriously having regrets and considering having a tubal reversal done. Has anyone had this done? If so, what has the outcome been?

I had my reversal last year in Mar and I was also 36. I have not conceived yet.
Mid last year I had some testing done and they said my tubes were blocked. My doc said they were not, but I'm not so sure any more. I sincerely wish you all the best, I believe you can conceive.

hello, i'm 40 and had a tubal reversal in oct 2005, i was 39 then, well we have been trying since then, skipped the first cycle. nothing yet.

My doctor advised IVF rather than reversal, as the risk of blocked tubes is high, so we tried IVF and concieved on the first go. due to have a healthy boy in 8 weeks :)

I am a very young 50 year old, had tubes tied 9 years ago and a reversal done 3 months ago. I have just missed my second period! Knowing my luck I am probably menopausal. Don't give up hope, I haven't....

I am 41 and I'm going to have a tubal reversal at the end of May. I'm in having it done in Mexico as the cost in the US is about 3 times as much. I have heard many good things about the doctors there and have talked to ladies who have had thier reversals done in Mexico. If you want a link to the website, please let me know.

sound like a similar story to me, my youngest was 6 years old when I had my tubes reversed, I was pregnant eight weeks later and have since had a healthy baby girl at 36...we are trying to have another one now...We certainly have no regrets. I am in Australia and had the procedure done here so I can't help you with that, but the procedure itself was fine (Iexperienced cramping for a couple of weeks after). Best of luck it certainly worked for me.
