Yes, I am 27 weeks too; due date Jan 26 or 28 (depending on who you ask--I say 28 lol). I know what you mean about it going too fast! I can't believe we're about to be in the third trimester! I keep hearing how it will really slow down soon, so we'll see. It's true that I just a week or two ago started feeling "thick" in the middle, making it hard to sometimes move and bend. And it's only going to get 10x worse. But, that's okay. as long as our babies are doing well! I have a follow-up US today. Take care!

:) HI Ladies, I didnt relize you guys had the same due dates as me!!! My baby boy is due Jan 28th. I Personaly think its taking to long. I want this over with. You both sound like you girls have had an easy pg so far, thats So great. Me on the other have had a intresting time. Morning sickness and at 15 weeks my belly popped out and i havent been able to get comfortable sence. lol. They do say that woman who have babies around the time we are due it tends to go by fast because of the holidays. So we shall see. Anyway I to have an US today then sometime this week I have to go get my glucose test done. Well talk to you ladies later. :)

I'm also 27 weeks tomorrow chrissi-- which is strange, because I think they gave us different due dates even though we're exactly the same time along! I'm really excited about the 3rd trimester- this might sound REALLY strange, but for the last 6 months, whenever I've seen another pregnant girl, I've compared how far along she is compared to me, and even my dh jokes "She's winning" if she's farther along than me, like it's a race or something LOL! I feel like the pressure is starting to come on to get the baby's room started... and I keep thinking, in 13 weeks I'm going to be in charge of a newborn baby?!?!! YIKES!!!

I'll be there on Friday. My due date is Fed. 2. Seems soooo far away.

Disney--Yes, I'll admit, I love pregnancy. This is my first. I, too, have an US today, and I have my glucose test today. In fact, I'm drinking the drink right now. It's not that good, but it's not as bad as everyone says. You just have to drink it down fast. I have the lemon-lime (I've heard the orange is worse) and it just tastes like a bad soda pop. I'm really curious about my results, as I've had a questionable sugar test the month before I turned up pregnant, so I've been trying really hard to lay off the sugar. It's very hard on me since I love sweets more than any other food. But, if my test comes up positive for diabetes today, I'm off sugar completly. Gestational diabetes can be quite bad for the baby. ******Hello to all fellow 27 weekers! Take care!

Huh, I know, Mamagoose that's weird, my original due date was Feb. 2nd, based on my LMP, but after US they changed it. I am supposed to go for my glucose BT any time betweent the 2nd and 10th. I almost forgot about that!!!! yikes!! I know, so overwhelming that in a matter of weeks we'll have little versions of ourselves and partners....how friggin crazy is THAT?! But I am so excited!!!!! DisneyG, I'm hoping that it does go quickly through the holidays, I just want to meet her :) I think it will, lots of distraction and things to look forward to! :) Lala, I know, GD is not great...but manageable. My cousin had it with her baby (she delivered this summer), and he got so big, they gave her an emergency C-section after her non stress test....and it was almost 2 weeks before her due date b/c he had NO ROOM!!! It can make them get so big!!! She really had to watch what she ate!!! Hopefully your tests (our tests) all come back negative! So take it easy ladies...hopefully we'll all chat in the 3rd tri!! :)

I had my blood glucose test today, and I had the orange drink, it was realllly grossss! Blah. It was like orange crush with syrup mixed in. One thing I've been wondering about is when the 3rd trimester officially starts? I've gotten mixed answers on this, anywhere from 28 to 30 weeks. This website says 29 weeks. What is the consensus?

LOL IM starting to think no one really knows when the 3rd starts. I read in many places that its 26 weeks but then yesterday on another thread this came up. I looked up on 10 different websites and a few different books they all say somthing different so as far as I know its somewhere in between 26 and 29 weeks. . Well I had my US today and everything is fine baby is showing due date as the same as it has been he is head down so were hoping he stays that way. I Saw his little peepee !!!! So im reasured that he is a little boy. I have to call tomarrow and make the app for my GD screening , I hate having this done YUCK, I dont know about the orange but i have heard its worse then the lemon lime and thats bad enough. I just dont like being poked with sharp things ... Lala I hope yoru test comes back Neg. I dont think i could handle no sweets. As much as i try to stay away from them its hard. Anyway ladies Im going to go read my book i got tonight. Belly laughs its so funny so far. Talk to you gals later :)

Hello all--No big surprise here--I failed my GTT today. So, tomarrow I go in for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. I have to be in the lab for 3 hours! Yikes--how boring! So, anyways, it's diet and exercise for me! I WON'T have my baby getting big and unhealthy for cookies (as MUCH as I love them!)!! Did you know that if you have strict control of your blood sugars, your baby won't get big, or have the other related problems? It's true. The bigger the baby gets, the more trouble the mom probably had with her blood sugars. It's going to be hard, but worth it.******As far as third trimester goes, it shouldn't be this confusing. What if we divide 40 weeks into three? That means the third trimester (the last 1/3) would start at 26 1/3 weeks. Is my math right? ******Take care!

Oh dear, this is crazy! LOL - most things I've read say that the 3rd tri starts at 28 weeks...?? LOL I guess I'll just go with that! hahahaha.

Hey everyone, I'm also due Jan 28. I have my glucose test next week, and I really don't think I'll pass. We'll see. I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable now. Its so hard to bend to pick up anything, and I feel a lot slower, but I try to take an occasional walk which helps in the day, but in the night I end up with a backache. In the end I'll deal with anything for this little baby. Just wish the time would go by a little faster :)

Hi nolls....I hear you - I'm totally slowing down with things...stairs, shoes, getting off the couch...LOL I and love the occaisional walk too but same as you my back starts to hurt later....ah well...how come you don't think you'll pass your glucose test? I don't think its something you can help though....don't worry too much. I have to go for mine next week sometime, hate blood tests...they always leave me bruised up!! Let us know how it goes though...good luck :)

Im due Feb 2.

I'm 27 w 6 days now... Today is my last day in the 2nd trimester!! I just wanted to say good luck and good health, and see you all in the 3rd trimester!
