Battling Non- Stop Colds This Pregnancy, Yikes!

Ok, I am 20 weeks along and I am now fighting my 3rd cold. The last cold I had lasted 4 weeks and I got antibiotics. I know this was not the best thing for me to do, but it was literally the worst cold I had EVER had in my life! Top this off with coughing and wetting your pants so much you have to wear depends pads and it makes for a miserable existance. Anyhoo, I am wanting to know what is the deal. With my first pregnancy I was the poster child of health. I never got sick, I was healthy as a horse and now It seems my body has no immune system whatsoever. I am dreading the upcoming flu season and am so tired of being sick all the time. Am I alone in this? What does anyone else do? Appreciate any feedback.

I am 22 weeks and have been sick a lot. Same situation, with my first I was so healthy. I don't know what the deal is this pregnancy. What are you taking for the colds?

Well, the first time nothing, second time antibiotics and tons of honey lemon tea this time, I tried that Zicam, the stuff that you are supposed to take at the onset of symptoms.....well, I took the mouth spray one and it gave me sores im my mouth!! Dont try it, it is awful! I am going to the drugstore tonight to get some of that stuff that was on Oprah yesterday, its called Airborne. Many people, even famous ones swera by it, so I am going to give it and its same name throat lozenges a try. Wish me luck!
