I'm 16 weeks and want to find out. I figure waiting is like having your birthday on Christmas.

I think everyone is different on this. I wanted to find out, and my husband didnt... granted i got my way and we're having a little girl. I think if its the first its more fun to know what you're having... so you can go out and buy all the cute clothes and all of the sorts. As for myself, this is my first, but from here on out i wont find out the sex of any more children God gives me... :) good luck on making a choice, its a hard one.

It is best to find out as soon as possible. that way you do not end up with a boy and all girl items. my parents ended up buying all boy bedroom items and all girl clothes. if you find out early you can have everything that you need so that you can have the rest that you will need after the baby comes instead of going out shopping.

I am 17 weeks and am finding out on the next visit. We can't wait!!! We are really torn on names so knowing will settle that down a little, also, like the others said, for reasons of clothes and the nursery!!! Good luck!!!

I am 16 weeks and 5 days. I will have my ultrasound in 2 weeks. But I will not be finding out the sex for one because hubby is deployed and he won't be able to share it with me and two we decided it would be a great surprise since it is our 1st little one. At first it was hard for me because I wanted to know and thought it would be hard getting clothes and finding stuff for the nursery but the more I thought about it I agreed and think it will be really exciting. Finding unisex stuff hasn't been that difficult either. I think whatever your choice may be is totally up to you.
