Does anyone else have Irritable Bowel Syndrome? I have had it for years and now that I'm preg was wondering if anyone else had it before and it is still bothering now that you are preg? I'am 22 weeks preg and sometimes I can spend a long time in the bathroom, does anyone else do something to feel better?

Kar, I have Crohn's Disease. It did get worse during the first trimester. I have to take medication for it while I am pregnant. I didn't want to but it had gotten so bad they said there was more risk to the baby from the Crohn's than from the medication they have me on b/c it is a cat. B.

Hi there, I too have IBS. I find it really acts up if i'm under a lot of stress and not eating right. I have found since becoming pregnant that if I have bran every other day or so and drink lots of fluids that I have regular bowel movements. Otherwise it's constipation or diarrhea! Yeah! Hope this helps and if you continue to suffer....talk to your doc and he might have some suggestions for you! Good luck and Belly Rubs
