Im 27 weeks as of yesterday and had my monthly doctors visit and I weighed 148. Before I was PG I weighed 127 and im 5'3... I hadn't been to my OB for 6 weeks before my Appt yesterday due to scheduling problems. I weighed 137 at my appt before this one.. So I gained 11 pounds in 6 weeks. And 21 pounds overall since the start of my pregnancy.. Am I gaining too much weight? I feel like im only gaining weight in my belly and my boobs. I went from wearing a 38DD to an F!!

I hope you're not gaining too much, cus if you are so am I! at my 27 weeks appnt. I gained somewhere around 25 pounds since the start. I was either 110 or 115 at the beginning.. we weren't quite sure. My midwife doesn't think there is any problem, it's just hard because I know I still have 3 months to go.. and that's when you're supposed to grow the most! However, I also gained most of my wieght so far in that time between 20-21 weeks and now.. so gaining 11 pounds in 6 weeks I don't really think is a huge problem.
I hear lots of women saying how I hardly look pregnant, just cus they had gained so much wieght EVERYWHERE, like face and hands and stuff. and I too have jus gained in my belly/chest. So I suppose we should be thankul for that hey and remember: We are NOT fat, we are Pregnant!

Before I was pregnant, I was 5'6" and 124. I'm 15 weeks and 5 days, and now I weigh 143. Nineteen pounds in 15 weeks!!! If I were to gain the same as you so far, that would mean I will gain one more pound in the next 11 weeks. See, don't feel bad! We are all different. Everything will disappear afterward with hard work and discipline. Right now I'm not worrying. I spoke with my OB to make sure my weight gain wasn't out of control, and she reassured me that everything was just fine. No worries! She said if I start noticing a lot of swelling in my hands and feet call her right away. Regular belly/boob/fat gain is normal.
