Wow, this is a first for me ;) .....for any of us who want to come over here I've started the second tri thread (hence, "Chapter 2"). For a refresher, my name is Stefanie (Stef) and my current due date is July 3. I am about 13 weeks 1 day today (by ultrasounds I am a couple days further, but sticking to that dating for now). I'm 31 years old, and am about to turn 32 on January 5!!! (yikes!)

CONGRATS TO ALL OF US! WE'VE MADE IT TO THE 2ED TRIMESTER!!!!!!!
I HAVE ONE MORE DAY BUT I'M STILL EXCITED!!
IM DUE JULY 9TH :-)

I've been dealing with alot of headaches and i feel like the more weeks pass by the more they hurt and that sucks big time. anyone showing yet?
I'm rather chubby lol so everyone says i am but i just see it as my usual stomach!! lol

Yep, I am quite freaked out by it because this is my first and everyone touches my belly already! I have taken belly pics and friends agree. It is weird though because I've seen photos of women at 20 weeks who look the same as I do now.... I'm fairly thin too. 5'6" and started at about 125lbs. Now I'm about 135. I'm so excited to actually LOOK pregnant though :)

Stef - i had to say CONGRATS I am so happy for you this is a HUGE milestone. Sorry to pop in on your thread but i am just thrilled for you Love Ya Lots and will chat on our other thread XOXOXO

Stefkay - Are you the one with the unhelpful doctors? I think so by what Robyn said and yes congrats I'm so glad that it all worked out! I am due July 3rd also - I had insurance issues but have my first appointment on January 3. I'll be 14 weeks by then. I know shame on me but health costs can be so expensive. I qualified for a State run discount insurance program and I can't wait to see my obgyn. This is my third pregnancy so I knew the first visit or so wouldn't be so exciting so at least now I can hear the heartbeat and maybe have that early first ultrasound! Welcome all July Mommies - I plan to be a regular on this thread I have found lots of others so helpful!

Hi cors! It is probably less nerve wracking to be able to just go to the dr. at 14 weeks for the first appt. I actually have pretty good doctors now. I have a regular OB and a specialist I travel out of town for. I'm just over 13 weeks and have had 5 ultrasounds already so things are looking good. It has been vERY anxiety inducing, but also in a way it helped me. I probably would have panicked myself right into a miscarriage if I had to wait so long for my first appt. That's only because I've miscarried several times before. So glad you joined us here and I'm excited for all of the things that come with the 2nd trimester!!!

Precious - don't worry I started off chubby lol I still have pounds that have been too lonely to leave from baby number 2 - the good news is I haven't gained any weight so far since I'm already overweigth but I am not worried I know I will eventually. I have some good guidelines to keep my weight under control. Chubby is allowed when with child so don't stress. I dont' see myself as chubby until I see picture of myself - lol - but hey I'm pg and loving it - just watching it this time- I was on the cheeseburger diet with my last one and he weighed in at 9 pounds 4 oz and doc said I ran the rish of having a 10 pounder this time around. lol I hope not - I mean I know I'll have an epidural and everything but sheesh. Oh and 2 more cents - you first timers - giving birth makes you a mother - doing it drug free doesn't make you anymore of a mother - take the drugs - lol ....just kidding - some women sail through without drugs I am just not one of those women.

ha ha! I'm totally going the epidural route :) only problem right now that worries me is that I'm on blood thinner injections so it gets tricky at the end. I'm supposed to come off of them and switch to a shorter acting blood thinner so that I CAN have the epi. Only problem is if I go into labor early......yikes!

Yay! Im soo glad to be in the 2nd trimester...I said 13w2d in my last comment on the other one...but i forgot im only 13w exactly haha...Im due July 4th. Getting ahead of myself it seems. Im 19 years old now, almost 20. So excited to have my first baby. I haven't heard the heart yet....but in a couple days I will. So YAY!

Hey charli! Congrats on moving over! What day is your appt? I have my next one this Friday the 4th and then I have another next Friday the 11th. After that I probably won't have another for a few weeks.

My next appointment is on the 2nd...YAY! I usually have them once a month...but i don't know...

hey ladies happy new year!!
Last night and today have been a terrible, been sick i haven't had much of an appiete. Today my stomach is growling and the thing is that before i had ulcers and probably still have a few so i get this burning sensation and it hurts so much. But, since im not eating it doesn't help me at all it just gets worse. I want to eat but when i do i take 2 bites or so and im done. i thought that after week 12 i will get my hunger back. i feel like its getting worse.
pray 4 me... i really wanna get better soon!!

Hi girls and HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm so excited because we got a new mattress set yesterday and will put it all up today. I finally hope to sleep a bit better. I know a lot of it was the bed, but the other part is the stuffy/runny nose thing. I guess it is a common pregnancy symptom. PRECIOUS, talk to your doctor aobut this because they can give you something so you can eat I'm sure...you really need to be eating especially at this time. I am still having small bouts of nausea, but it's not nearly as long lasting as it used to be. I think I am definitely eating more now!

hey everyone sry so long to update for me. well ive got the damn sickness crap back. ughhh since about christmas & a couple days after ive been puking my brains out. today was am puke which wasnt normal for me but it was there. omg im not feeling well at all. 13 weeks 4 days today & im feeling like HELL.
