Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! Sprinkles, you must live in the same part of the country as me (I'm in upstate New York) and yes, it's cold out there! I think 17 was like the high yesterday! It's supposed to warm up some next week though. Anyway, no real news with me...just still looking forward to Wednesday when we have our U/S to determine the sex! I have been feeling the baby move a lot though, and my husband even felt it last night! This is the first time I've really seen him actually excited about the baby. I think that he's been really cautious since we had such a late miscarriage last time. Anyway, hope all is well with everyone! My boss called in sick today, so I should have some time to chat today! |

Yay!:) I'm at work now -'taking it easy' like my dr told me to;) but I'll check back later, to see how everyone's doing. |

Good morning girls, Newleywed- blueberry waffles sound good right now. 3 more days till my appt. hope everything is good, although i don't get my ultrasound until the 24th, but it gets closer everyday. I can't believe my baby girl is turning 5 next week. i am so out of tune with baby stuff. |

ma how exciting your dd will be 5!! dont worry about being out of tune with all the baby stuff, some of us are first time moms and personally I have no clue what to do lol but my sister in law says it will come naturally so hopefully with you it will all come back very easily :) |

yeah- I alternate between cinnamon Life cereal and waffles. This mornign the pickles just sounded and looks SO good. I thought to myself how stereotypical it was, but oh well! Ma, congrats on your dd turning 5! We bought that book so he can understand whats going on better. Every night we usually read about what went on with the baby for the day, btu he doesn't really understand the mood swings and such. I told him I don't really understand it either, and I'm trying to cope, because you know, this is a NEW experience for both of us, and he misses me being me. Sometimes I totally feel out of character, but I can't help it. Especially with being tired a lot, and being moody of grump all of a sudden. So this book will really help. Hopefully. I just hope these hormone get balanced out soon, because I can't wait to feel "normal" emotionally again. Lol, does that make sense to anyone? I can't be alone on this. Seriously, I feel like "Phsycho Chick" that Jenny Mcarthy describes in her book. |

sorry about the typos... I have these darn acrylics still on from Christmas... |

I hope you feel more like yourself soon... I haven't felt different really at all.. I am more emotional, I cry at everything lol but DH and my family and friends have all expected me to be all moody and such and they all told me Im just like normal. I guess I was just moody before ;) I got my DH the book so he would know more about what is happening too but he seems soooo uninterested like he did his part now its my tur or something *rolls eyes* I have to force him to come to classes with me when that time comes. heck, monay will be the first appointment that he will be at with me.. I always feel so stupid being the only person in the waiting room that is alone. Im hoping that once he sees baby during the U/S and it becomes more "real" he will be more interested in it. also I think he doesn't want to get to into it because the likely hood of him being deployed for the last bit of my pregnancy is very very high and he doesn't want to make plans to help me with the delivery if he wont even get to be there. *shrug* |

Heather- you are not alone in the whole uninterest thing, my hubby doesn't really say much about the pregnancy either, maybe cause he hasn't felt any kicks yet or gotten so see it on ultrasound. He sometimes rubs my belly a few times, but thats about it. I think now that i am showing and once i start getting bigger it will help cause there will be a visual reminder that hey there is something there. Your hubby will get there too, once he sees baby on screen and with your growing belly week after week. |

thanks ma... thats reassuring... dont get me wrong he LOVES the baby and couldn't be more excited about it.. he just doesn't want to know about anything physical thats going on where as I look stuff up and have weekly emails sent to me when I enter a new week that tell me whats going on. oh and he HATES the word uterus lol he doesn't like when I talk about it. I just feel like Im sorta of alone in this sometimes. |
