Is there any scientific basis for the myth that when you are carrying the baby to the front, it's a boy and a more all round figure indicates it is a girl?

Not really because I heard od a saying that when you carry up your having a girl and when your carrying low its a boy. Well I carried low throughout my whole pregnancy with my first child and she was a girl.

I am carrying out front - typical boy shape... sure enough at my scan I'm expecting a little boy ! A friend at work put on lots of weight all over and has been very sick throughout pregnany where I have not been sick once ( v lucky I know ). But it seems to point towards the sex being related to how you feel and how you carry.

the way you carry has nothing to do with it. it is just your body type. the only way to find out is through the ultra sound!

We are going to be surprised. I am happy as long as baby and I are healthy and strong. Surely after 8 months you can wait one more to find out :)
