TatiK, I am due in May also. Congratulations! When is the actual demarcation between first and second trimesters anyway? I keep reading different weeks according to different sources.

well I was told I was due may 2nd but turns out it is april 30th. close enough right? lol. I am so excited I can't wait!!!! jac, I have seen the same but have been told by my doctor it is around 14 weeks. roughly 14 weeks 3 days he said. hope that helped.

I am due sometime in may anywhere between the 3 and 11 ever time i go to the doctor it changes I am about 15 weeks now and just starting to feel good again. some days i dont feel as pregnant as others. This is our first child and i cant wait to feel that little angel move.

I am thrilled to be here too. And like you TatiK I am just as excited with every milestone as I was with my first, even though this is my fifth. You never tire of the excitement of a new life within, do you!

I am trying not to be impatient, but I do feel like a kid at Christmas! Having told my other kids hasn't helped, they can,t wait to spread the news and have no concept of time when it comes to baby making!

We haven't shared our news, I like having it be our little family secret for now. Am waiting to hear we are passed all major hurdles. So far, so good!

Hello ladies, Here is how I count and divide my weeks and months into trimesters. 9 months of pregnancy divide by 3 since there are 3 trimesters . So every 3 months you go to the next trimester. If you count by weeks you can do the same divide 3 into 40 that will be about 13.5 weeks. Every 13.5 weeks you go up a trimester. I hope that helps you jac1019. Babymakes7 CONGRATULATIONS wow 5th baby. I hope you have older once that will help you out! My oldest is 6 then 4 then 2. My friend is having her 6th and she is also 25(like me). But her oldest is even younger then my oldest.

Your hands are full Tatik, but it is so worth it! I love that my kids are closely spaced and it gets easier once the are a little older. Mine are now 12, 11, 10 and 9, so they will help and think this is great, for now! LOL.

I am older (45) so this is truly a blessing. I am of course concerned about the issues of older parenthood, but I have gotten all positive test results and am thrilled for this.

My kids are too tightly spaced to know anything different, and are generally good together. I have 2 girls, then 2 boys. They think this baby's a girl. :) I don't care either way, just want a healthy one!

Does you and dh come from big families? When will you tell the world?

Also meant to ask your edd. Have you felt movement? I think I have, but nothing regular, am looking forward to that.

Hi and congrats to you all! Well I thought I was having a June baby, but I was a whole month off according to our ultrasound! we are due at the end of May! We are excited to be having our second child...first one will be turning 2 a month after tha baby is born! This pregnancy has been COMPLETELY opposite from my first one...for sure ready for all the monring sickness to go away!

I Tatik come from a family of six. My mother had her first four by the age of 21 and she got married at 16. Then she had my brother at 27 and my little sister at 37. We were pregnant together at the same time. Me with my first and she with her sixth. My mother is 42 now and this will be her eighth grandchild. We have big happy families. Also my dh is from a family of eight. I wanted to have my first 4 close like you, but I had to have a thyroid surgery after my 3rd so that really stopped me from getting pregnant right away. I think it's so amazing to have children in later years. I would love to have more with I get older, too.

Sorry for the delay in posting, we've been away. We decided to take a family vacation before our lives got turned upside down ;)

How is everyone doing? I let myself pack on the pounds over our getaway. I hope that I will use more control now through Christmas, which is sneaking up on me! I am really going to regret a huge gain!

Hi everyone, I am due May 17 and am 16 weeks, I am just wondering if anyone around the same time is really showing to the point that it is obvious to other people? I feel really fat but not sure if it is baby as I was a larger lady anyway? I have not told anyone yet as I was trying to wait til around 20 weeks? Is that unreasonable??

I was trying to hold out until 20 weeks. Too, but I don't think that's going to happen. I am definitely showing, and I too thought that I could hide it because I began a larger woman. My dh thinks people will notice this week at church, and though I could go on letting them think I've packed in the pounds, people will speculate. I just didn't want people fussing over me or talking because of my age. Even though I know it's nobody's business, I know that they will.

I still haven't formulated what my response will be to the busy bodies.

Hi! I am also 16 weeks..due May 20th. I, too, am a larger lady and thought I wouldnt have any problem hiding the belly..but I was wrong. It is obvious to people who are around me quite a bit, especially my husband. I have a few maternity tops but dont like to wear them bc some make me look HUGE pregnant. I am desperatly needing some maternity jeans!I ordered a pair but am sending thm back..they were supposed to be bootcut but are massive flair leg..lol. Have you ladies been sick at all? Lost any weight? I have lost 25 lbs but gained 2 of it back. U can only tell in my face..what crap! haha!

I am 16 weeks and about to go up a pant size. I have been hesitating for a while but now getting quite uncomfortable. I lost 5 kilos earlier on with morning sickness but have put 4 of it back on. I thought I should not be gaining weight yet but the doctor said yes I should be. I am still trying to hide my tummy but I really do feel fat. I wish I felt it was baby but I am more paranoid that it is just fat. Maybe I have always been this fat but just getting paranoid now as no one knows about my pregnancy yet?

I told everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

My father over heard me telling my mom and he told my uncle, and my uncle, well how should I put it?? IF HE KNOWS EVERYONE KNOW!

My plan was to do Christmas pictures and wear something loser so you could see the belly! But by the time I would send out the X-mass cards everyone would know. My friends tell me I am not showing yet, but I think they just say that, just because. LOl I know I am showing. And If my belly isn't given it out my boobs are. I went from a cup C to a D. Anyone has that problem?

About weight I am 145lb now! Slowly but surely I am growing. I haven't lost an oz. the first few months, so any extra oz it goes up! By the way I started at 143lb. After Thanksgiving I was almost 147lb YEP. But that was all that good food we had for 2 days.





Anyone has an ultrasound anytime soon??????
My appointment is on the 31st of December!

I am due May 14 by my dates, May 18th by measurements. I went over with the other four, so I expect nothing different from this little one. I have my next u/s on the 17th.

I am afraid to go near a scale, I haven't been good and it's been a feeding frenzy since we took a vacation over Thanksgiving! I gained 10lbs almost right away, within the first trimester which has had me scale shy. LOL

Tatik have you found out if your uncle spilled the beans?
