I just woke up after having a terrible dream! Today is my twenty week appt., and I just had a dream we were getting an ultrasound and there were twins for some reason showing up, which I am about 99.99 percent sure I am not having twins, at this stage it would probably be more apparent. Anyway, in the dream both of them were still, they had no heartbeats, and were confirmed dead. I just sat there staring in disbelief, and my heart broke. The two bodies were so lifeless and sad. One was staring right at me, it was kind of scary.
The doctor then told me I could deliver them right there, and so I agreed to after calling my mother to tell her.
My fiance told me I was moaning in my sleep, so I guess that explains that.
I know it was probably just a bad dream but now I feel nervous and sad and I cannot get back to sleep!:(
I wish I could feel the baby move or something, anything to reassure me.....

At the start of my pregnancy i used to have terrible dreams like that ... you wake up and find yourself so sad even though it isnt real! I just put mine down to the fact that i had previously suffered 2 miscarriages and just expected it to happen again! Im saying this to you to let you know that you're not alone! Ive been told, that having dreams like that, mean the exact opposite! Good Luck and stay positive x

HeavenisMine, I am so sorry that you had a dream like that. I have had dreams where I go to the bathroom and I am bleeding very heavily and know that I am loosing my baby. I will be moaning/crying in my sleep and wake my hubby up who will then wake me up. These kind of dreams just suck. I would take the weird sex dreams over these ones any day. I am sure that everything is fine and hope all goes great at you appointment today. Good luck. : )

I'm happy to say I haven't had any bad dreams about the baby yet, but sometimes I have these horribly violent nightmares about murder and being attacked, or other people being attacked. I don't even want to go to sleep some nights because I never know what I'm going to dream about.

angie m it is funny you should say that, as soon as I finally went back to sleep I had another sex dream, thankfully it was with my fiance this time, so I was happy again when I woke for my appointment, which went well I might add, baby is still kicking around, we got a nice heartbeat and my uterus is right where it should be. Dreams can just be so frightening sometimes!

I'm sorry; what a horrible dream. I have some pretty awful dreams, too. I had one recently in which my husband killed a bunch of people and was eating them. He then wanted to have sex, but I told him to wash the blood off of his mouth first. :O Where do these dreams come from???????

I was asking myself the same question! I feel so tainted after most of the sex dreams unless they're with my honey, and it's under normal circumstances.
I had a dream I worked with a mafia, and we were hiding weapons underground. I just want that to stop. It's not me, seriously brain! Get a grip on yourself.
