Anyone still on here? How is everyone doing? |

I'm still here! I'm doing good, except sometimes in the middle of the night, i'll get some major pain in my whole belly and it's hard to change positions. I don't know what the deal is but it's only happened in the middle of the night. I found out today I get to have another ultrasound on Aug 10th!!! At the one i got a few weeks ago, the tech told us that she was having a hard time getting a good picture of the whole spine cuz he was moving so much. So she said don't be alarmed if they want you to get another one, and sure enough they do. I'm excited cuz i thought i wouldn't get to see him again till he was born! How is everyone else? |

I'm still here! Nothing new to report, i don't have another ultrasound until next week. I'm still getting stabbing pains under my ribs from the kicking/stretching/pressure of the girls as they grow. It's getting harder and harder to work 8-5 at my desk job, where there's nowhere to lay down if the pain gets really intense. I made a promise to myself that if I can get through August, i'll go on short-term disability for September. Counting down the days....what are all your plans for working? Any other news? |

Nothing new is going on with me. Just tired from not sleeping very well at night. My last day of work is on Friday and I CAN NOT wait. I also work a desk job but I am so tired and stressed from it. |

24 weeks, 4 days....several friends of mine are throwing a shower for me on Sept 12. All my family is on the east coast so I won't see them until after the babies are born. |

Yeay, its August! I'm counting down the months..... so pathetic! I'm at 23w 4d today and I can't believe how much growing I've done in the past month! I am starting to feel huge, and I know that this is only the beginning. Its so amazing how big your belly can get. I had another u/s and baby is 1lb. 4oz. and his heart scan/fetal echo showed he is 100% healthy so no genetic heart conditions were passed to him (that's what I have). Oh, and the placenta has moved up enough to deliver vaginally. I am not having a shower:( I just feel like on the 4th child people won't be too perceptive. I need everything though since we thought we were done. I've been buying stuff already and I think the only thing I don't have is a carseat. Oh, and clothes/diapers, etc. We started moving our oldest son out of his room and into the bonus room to make room for baby, so hopefully over the next couple of weeks we can finish up the move, clean the carpets, touch up the paint, and set up the nursery. School starts in a month and I've got so much to do: school shopping, soccer, dance, karate, gymnastics, awana, etc! Time is gonna fly by! Got the glucose stuff and have to drink it on my way in to my next dr. appt. fruit punch this time! I don't know how you two carrying twins are doing it, its gotta be squished in your bodies right now! Oh, and at my u/s she tried to catch a 4D image (my first ever 4D) and the little man would not cooperate. He kept his face turned in so the best look I got was his ear... darn it!!!! |

I have thought about having a 4D u/s...I may still look into it. Dont worry GloriaD your not the only one counting down - I however have started counting down weeks. Since twins are considered full term at 37 weeks I figure I got about 13 weeks left. When I think about it like that I get excited but on the other hand I get SO anxious/scared. |

25wks3days and counting! I did the glucose test this morning - it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting - and PASSED with flying colors! I then promptly rewarded myself with IHOP chocolate chip pancakes - is that bad? |

I hated that glucose test... so gross. Since having the girls I have become very intolerant of refined sugars, so I have no idea how they will do a glucose test on me. I can only use honey, maple syrup or things like that...imagine drinking maple syrop! LOL. |

I have my glucose test in 2 weeks. Not looking forward to it. My dr said that women pregnant with twins tend to get gestinonal diab. more often than women with only 1 baby, so we shall see. |

I am having my glucose test on Monday, and i get to have another ultrasound too! The tech wasn't able to get a good pic of his spine last time so i'm having another one, i'm excited because my mom and sister are coming to see this one! Not looking forward to the glucose drink though! |

I think I should be locked up until I'm doing being pregnant!! I'm so grouchy that I am driving myself crazy! My poor hubby and kids..... I don't know why its so bad... I'm stressed out about everything..... money.... school clothes shopping..... the stuff around the house we're doing.....the stuff around the house that isn't getting done.... aghhhh! I finally got the baby's room cleaned out today. That was a relief. I went through everyone's closets and have a huge amount of clothes to take to goodwill... Its all so overwhelming though. Seriously I think I'll die pregnant! I've done this 3 times before so why is this one soooo hard????? |

GloriaD - Sorry your so stressed - hopefully things get better. Each pregnancy is different, maybe this one is just the most hormonal one you have had :) |

Hi Ladies! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. Life has been crazy busy. We are pretty much settled in to the new house now, so I can start the baby prep stuff soon. |
