Let me start by saying that you are doing NOTHING wrong. I know that it's hard for a man to think about all of the changes that happen to a woman when she's pregnant, but there's physical, emotional, and mental changes. She is getting bigger, even if only a little, but she notices even if nobody else does. Some women are insecure to start with, but it gets worse during pregnancy. Women are hormonal during pregnancy, it isn't you or anything you've done. I would say to just support her as much as you can, if she makes comments about being fat or yucky or anything like that, just tell her that to you she's beautiful and that you love her. I have a little girl and this is my boyfriends first child and there are times that I feel the way that your wife feels (it's natural)..and I've found that the thing that helps me is when he just looks at me and smiles and tells me how beautiful I am. He is always touching my stomach, kissing it, talking to the baby. I would also say to give her a little bit of time, some women after a certain point in the pregnancy start to feel better about themselves and feel great and sexy again. I wish that I could help more. Congratulations on the baby.
