I just had an OB check up yesterday, and right before the appt., I noticed some pink spotting. (Good timing - at least it happened then so I could tell the dr. right away!). Sorry for the TMI, but after doing my urine sample, I also had to go #2, and I've been constipated so I really had to push. (like I said, sorry...) Anyway, when I wiped I noticed pink spotting from the vaginal area. The only other time I've spotted during the pregnancy was around 5 weeks, also after a difficult #2. During my appt, the dr did an exam and said it looked like I have a "friable cervix". She said I was bleeding a little from the outside of my cervix, but it was still nicely closed and didn't see any signs of yeast infection. She asked if I'd had sex recently but it's been a few days, so it wasn't that. She didn't seem too concerned and said she sees this pretty often. She treated it with some ointment and it stopped bleeding until late last night when it started again. Now this morning it's smelling a little wierd. I'm wondering if I have a bacterial infection. She didn't test me for that because the odor didn't start until today. Of course, now it's Saturday morning and the office is closed for the weekend. Anyone else have something like this?? Should I go to a walk in clinic or even the ER? I'm not really cramping, but I've felt a few minor "tinges" this morning...could be all in my mind. Please help!
