Yeah, my feet and ankles started swelling at 20 weeks. (I'm 24 weeks now) My doc isn't worried either, but he told me to watch my salt intake because it makes your body retain water. Put your feet up above chest level if it really bothers you. Good Luck.

Hello. My feet and ankles are swollen every night by the time I get home. I just take off my shoes and socks and put my feet up. It usually goes away by the time I go to bed. I am going to talk to my doc at my next appt about it. I am 26 weeks. Are your feel always swollen 24/7? Do you work on your feet?

I'm only 13 1/2 weeks, and just started noticing the swelling in the feet. I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad, but thankfully I can take my shoes off at work! My biggest feet problem is that they get all achy when I'm trying to go to sleep, so i have to put them up on a pillow or else i don't sleep.

Hello Ladies...I'm having the same problem (at 23 weeks). My ankles and feet started swelling around 20 weeks and luckily I had a dr. appointment that week. He said to drink LOTS of water, watch my sodium intake and don't wear socks/knee high hose with elastic bands in them. He also said it was completely normal. Just watch for swelling in your face/hands which could be a sign of preeclampsia. Hope this helps!!
