I have been told so many different things on Tylenol pm that it is good and bad. My psychiatrist gave me Ambien which is a catagory B list drug .It seems to really help.Hope you start sleeping good again. I know how you feel because I am bipolar with no meds, 14 weeks pregnant and staying up 5 nights in a row. Good luck!

i am a very paranoid person, so i completely understand your concerns. i am 24 weeks pregnant and i have suffered from insomnia even before pregnancy. i think some of it has to do with being a high school teacher. anyways, i asked my doctor about tylenol pm and he said that i could take it every night if i needed to. he said that it was actually worse for my baby if i was continually stressed. i usually drink a cup of hot chamomile tea, take a warm (not hot) bath, and take one tylenol pm. i read a little bit and i fall asleep right away. it is different for every pregnancy so ask your doctor. they might even prescribe something stronger should you need it.

I had contact dermatitus, which they think was like poison ivy or a reaction to something. Well I didn't know if i was pregnant at the time, but we were trying. I didn't know this was a steroid salve and i put it on my face two times and my belly two times. That is all I put on. It said it had 1% Triamcinolone acetonide in it. I am scared because i just found out today I am pregnant and found out that is a steroid salve. Anyone know if this will harm my baby? When I took it, it was 2 days after ovulation.

Amanda, I don't think you need to worry. It was so early in your pregnancy that the baby shouldn't be affected. But it wouldn't hurt to bring it up to your doctor, he might put your mind at ease.
