My doctor predicted I was 19 weeks pregnant but my calculations come up as 16 due to my periods being farther apart. At my u/s this morning the baby measured 15 weeks and a few days...anyone else have this happen? I would love to hear your story. I don't know what to think, while waiting for my doctors appt tomorrow. The tech said that it's a concern and there are all sorts of complications to go over with my doctor at our next appt (tomorrow)

Hi Munki, the same thing did not happen to me, but I can tell you that earlier u/s are more accurate. Was this your first u/s at 15 weeks??? There is really no way to tell; perhaps you are right. But I bet your Dr. will go over your last cycles with you. If he doesn't, bring up the subject and give him dates, so he can see that you had longer cycles. Let us know what happens!

I was 5 days behind when I was pregnant with with my daughter on my ultrasound. (She was also 5 days late for her due date. This time at my 12 week the baby was measuring 5 days larger. I know my dates are dead on this time because I was ttc. If you are truly close to 16 weeks then being 4 days off is not a big worry. On the otherhand your doc will probably give you better insight tomorrow. I hope all is well.

I wouldn't worry about it, since i heard that u/s after week 12 are really inaccurate. not every baby is going to measure the same at lets say 20 weeks. your could be bigger, mine could be smaller. all babies grow differently and i would not worry at all about it!
