Venting

I am 18 weeks and I have on ultrasound on the 25th. My DH doesn't want to find out the sex of the baby but it is killing me. There is no way that I would be able to find out and not tell him. I am trying to convince him but it doesn't seem to be working. It is driving me crazy! It really bugged me for a while and after lots of crying I decided that maybe I would be ok with not finding out. But the crying has started again. We already have a two year old son so we are hoping for a bbay girl this time. I just want to know!

Just tell him that you are going to find out and you will do your best not to give it away. If you end up spilling the beans, he will forgive you.

I think you should do whatever you want to do. If it were me, I would just do it. If it were my husband that wanted to find out and I did'n't, I wouldn't care if he found out as long as he tried not to tell me. You are the one carrying the baby so it should be up to you!!!

I think its a decision you both need to make. Whatever you decide, make sure you are honest with him. There are a lot worse things than waiting til the baby is born to find out the sex. I have spent the last few days crying because mine may have Downs... I would gladly switch places with you.
