Not sure about the soonest you can see. With my 1st I found out at 20 weeks. This time I am oping my 18 week appt. this little one will cooperate and let us see. I too am VERY impatientl waiting!! I am 13 weeks also and should find out on Jan. 15th!!

My OB told me that it's definitely possible to find out the sex as early as 14 weeks, but it's VERY hard to know for sure at that age. He said that the best time to find out would be when you are 18-22 weeks along.

I am due on June 17th/18th... and this is my second child. I have an amazing 22 month old son. I am really hoping to find out in January so that I know if I need to paint our nursury...which is purple. I want to be able to decorate and if its a girl I am going all out in pink/purple girly colors. I not I get to paint another blue room, which is absolutly ok with me! I actually want a boy so my son can have a buddy....this is probably my last!

I went for my first trimester scan at a little over 13 weeks and they told me I was Gavin a girl. They gave me 70% accuracy, but the tech looked pretty certain.

Wow! That is awesome that so many of you were able to find out so early on! My OB's office won't even let you do an US to determine the sex any sooner than 18 to 20 weeks. They're such poopers! lol. I just went for my first trimester scan and I asked the tech if she could tell what it was and she said it was too early to tell- I was 12 weeks at the time. Starlight- I have a son too...he'll be 2 on December 29th! He's the love of my life! I want to find out in January too! Oh and I'm due June 22nd, btw. We'll probably keep the nursery the same since it's neutral and very nice and we'll move my son into a big boy bed/room which I'll have fun doing over! I may change my mind if it's a girl though cause I love projects so doing a pink nursery would be fun! We'll see- I think this one is another boy, my husband says girl. He was right the first time w/ my son, he said boy from the beginning and I said girl...so we'll see what happens this time. I really have no preference either way, as long as he/she is healthy, of course! Good luck to you all!!

My husband just spoke to that OBGYN friend of his and he said he could tell the sex of the baby w/ the 4D scan at 12 weeks! I'll be 14 weeks on Monday and he said he'd do it for me but I'm nervous! It's like now I don't want to know...lol!

At my 12 week ultrasound, they told me they were 70% sure it was a boy. At 19 weeks it was confirmed. They said there was no doubt about it... He was waving it all around. LOL. I would think with a 4D you'd be able to tell very soon, if not already. Good luck and congrats!

i was told by my ob that i could see at 20 weeks which for me would be feb 5th, b/c i am due 6-18. but i have heard of people that get the 14 week genetic tests that you can find out via the dna/genetics that they pull. i really want to know NOW. i go in for my 16 week appointment on 1-7 and i am tempted to ask to find out but i also dont want to b/c my mom is planing on flying in for my 20 week scan to find out with us.
