so i've been having a lot of discharge lately, and its been leaving a good sized wet mark in my underware....i ran into an old friend the other day, and she happened to mention that while she was pregnant she started leaking amniotic fluid at 6mo and had to be put on bed rest. immidiately i thought "oh no! i'm leaking amniotic fluid!" long story short....i went into the dr. and they did an ultra sound and everything looked great...he did 3 different tests of my fluid and they all came back good! so its just discharge! my dr.'s exact words were..."you are pregnant, you have discharge" so it was a big relief that i wasn't leaking fluid! not too happy about the amount of discharge i have, but hey, if that's the biggest problem i have, i'm not complaining!!

my MIL started leaking amniotic fluid with my SIL when she was only 3 months! so she was in the hospital on bedrest for almost the entire pregnancy....but i have tons of discharge too...feels gross, but apparently its normal.

I am almost 16 wks and I started noticing the large wet spots on my undies within the last week or so. I just had an u/s and all looked well, but I agree it is a bit disconcerting to see all that wetness.

lol squished, i had to wear full on pads with wings when i was really sick last week, every time i coughed or sneezed i peed my pants, not just a tinkle either, it was horrible! and i had bronchitis so you can imagine how much i was coughing and peeing :(

I sneezed one night and literally had pee running down my leg!! I was horrified bc it never happened w/my DS!!
I told my DH and I think he was kinda grossed out. OH WELL, its all for the babies!

So I have a lot of discharge too. How can u tell if it's just discharge and not amniotic fluid?

i hope i don't start peeing my self!!! i often worry about that.
the only way to be sure it isn't amniotic fluid is to go to the dr. and have him test it. my dr. said that if i feel a gush, and it isn't pee then to be concerned...
