this is my 3rd pg. I am 14wkd 4d today. Last night I woke up several times and my uterus was rock hard like braxton hicks contraction. I was wondering if anyone has had his too or knows anything about it. Thank you.... :)

I have had them off and on since my 2nd trimester but they are not painful or anything so I think it is pretty normal unless it happens alot or is painful you can talk to your doc to be sure

I posed that same question when I was 16 weeks pregnant. never got a reply. this is my 2nd pregnancy, so I know what Braxton Hicks feel like, but I didn't recall having them that early with my 1st pregnancy. i'm 21 weeks now and everything has been fine. still have had the occasional braxton hicks. so guess it's noramal

Hi Carol, I started having bh cont. at about the same time as you and this is my 3 rd pregnancy. I don't remember having them so early. Also have a question for everyone. How many bh cont. do you have a day? I'm at the end of 6 months and have about 20 a day. At the most 4 an hour. I know more than 4 per hour is not good but what's normal and what's too many?
