When I went in for my 16 week checkup, the dr couldn't find my baby's heart beat with his heart doppler. We then went for a vaginal sonagram...during this he showed us the baby and his chest cavity and told us where the heart should be beating...he then told me that my baby was no longer alive. When I started crying, the baby began to move around and suck his thumb, we then saw the heart beat on the outter sonogram machine...Could this be a dr error, could the baby have heart problems, or am I worring about nothing or what????

The doctor should not have jumped to conclusions! It sounds like a doctor error: I would seek a 2nd opinion or new doctor and ask as many questions as you want. If your doctor is a moron, ask the nurses instead.
