Mamagoose?...prenatal Classes?

I know that you live in the Vancouver area, so I was interested to know where you are going to be taking your prenatal classes? if you are taking any that is.
I am having a hard time finding a place I like. I don't think my hospital offers any (Langley Memorial), well their website doesnt shed any light at least.

I live in Vancouver as well and my midwife gave me a list of classes in the area. If you can give me your email address I will send you over the list

Douglas College offers a bunch throughout the lower mainland... they have prenatal classes in Langley. We've missed the last session of prenatal classes for the year because they don't do any over Christmas, but you might be in time for the 6 week course starting in January. They recommend you finish the class at least 1 month before your due date. I just registered for the "Prenatal in a Day" class, which is the same idea as the 6-week course, only they do it all in 1 Saturday... I'm registered for the Dec 9 class in Surrey, and there is still space in case you are looking! Wherever you go, register soon because they book up in advance! (no dashes), or call to register at 604-527-5472. It's pretty easy, they set you up over the phone and then you're all set! They don't have the schedule for 2007 out yet, so it might be a risk to wait until whenever they send it out, which is why I registered for the December class.

Mamagoose: I have looked at Douglas College but thought I had missed the deadline because their classes had already started but I didn't even think to take the one-day. I will look into it and give them a call tomorrow. Hopefully their Dec 9th class isnt all booked up!(I will be 30 wks along) Thanks!
