I have heard of miscarriages up to 20 weeks called late miscarriages. I was wondering how often a miscarriage happened after 22 wks. I have not felt my baby move so much this week, and not at all today. Could this be a silient miscarriage?

If you have a baby after week 22, technically it's not a miscarriage anymore. It's a regular birth resulting in a premature baby. And don't worry too much at only 22 weeks if you don't feel your baby move a bunch. It becomes a concern if you don't feel your baby all the time between approximately 28 & 34 weeks. As always, if you feel something is wrong, talk to your doc.

I don't know what the percentages are, but I know it's very low. I got worried because a little before 22 weeks, I didn't feel my baby move much either. Now I'm 23 weeks and she's moving a lot. I also seemed to grow pretty significantly in the past week or 2, so I think maybe she was just going through a growth spurt. At this stage, I wouldn't worry about not feeling the baby unless you usually do and you go several days feeling nothing. That may be worth calling your doctor about.

After week 20 it's not considered miscarrying anymore it would be considered "still birth"

After hearing and seeing the heartbeat there is only like a 5% chance of something going wrong. Thats what my doc says.

I had a really nasty bump to my tummy the other day and i was only just 20 weeks so i went to A&E and the baby was fine. They said the chances of losing the baby now is very low and even if u have a nasty bump the baby is covered in fluid and is very unlikely to be hurt at all. I was the one all bruised and the baby is fine =)
