it seems like whenever i feel little movements its usually on the left in the same spot mostly and about 3-4 inches below my belly button...does this sound about right? i didnt realize my uterus was that high already! does that sound about right? i am 15w4d.

I wouldn't think with your first that you would be feeling the baby this soon. Early on, you'll usually feel it right above your pubic bone, as that's where the uterus still is. I didn't feel my ds until I was around 19 weeks.

When I was at my 16wk appt, my dr felt my uterus and the top of it was an inch below my belly button.. With it being your first it is rather early.. this is my second and I began to feel it right around that time.. I wouldn't say it's impossible.

well, its around the same area my doppler picks up the heartbeat, only maybe an inch off from there...so it is the right spot...i had a d&c right before concieving so maybe my uterus is more sensitive than others, who knows

margie i did feel flutter like movements right around 16 weeks with my first. You could be feeling it. Everyone is different. Are you a very small person?

I was 17 weeks when I started feeling the baby (2 weeks ago) but my coworker- also a first timer- started around 14/15 weeks. So it's possible!

I started feeling little flutters between 161/2-17 weeks, and now at 20w3d it's always near my pubic area, sometimes a little higher, to the lower right side of my belly button, and it has gotten a bit more aggressive.
Hopefully in a few weeks it will be really strong!

I definitely don't think it's too early Margie. :) This is my first and I felt movement earlier than you. (In the beginning I felt it very low, almost beneath my pubic hair.) I'm almost 22 weeks now and I feel movement right at my pubic hair line, at my belly button and everywhere in between.

Some just feel it a tad earlier than others that's true, we all have different bodies and different babies, so only you can determine that :) It's such an exciting time isn't it?
Now if someone went around saying I can feel the baby moving at like six or eight weeks, I would be questioning them seriously:(

I HAVE TO ASK THIS: Have any of you pressed in on your belly and had the baby react or kick back or something?

I'm 19 weeks, I'll be 20 weeks Sunday. I still only feel him kick below my pubic hair line. I began feeling both of my kids kick at 18 weeks.

I believe I felt a flutter once in week 15. It was distinctive and different so I'm pretty sure it was a movement. It feels as they do now. I didn't consistently start to feel the baby move unitl 19 weeks. I feel my movement about half way between my belly button and pubic bone.

HeavenisMine: I feel the fluttery feelings a lot of times but no reaction to anything yet, I guess its too early for that still with me. I know that later on though you can touch them and play with them and they will react to your touch.

i usually feel her move below my bellybutton somewhere ( in the middle usually to! i'm not sure if that's weird cuz i am like 95% sure she is on the left side of my tummy, thats where the ultrasound girl had the thing when she showed me the baby to.Maybe her feet just stretch out to there.
Some people would say it is too early but i think you could have if you are/were in good shape. I thought i felt little flutters before 15 weeks and right on 15 weeks i thought i felt one good kick like something i never felt before, but then felt nothing until like the next week.
