No its a good thing if your 38 weeks pregnant its fine and normal to have a baby at anywear 36-40 weeks and it be healthy.. So unless ur doctor says no sex than continue doing sex. It will help bring on labor.. The sperm has a chemical in it that helps dialate and thin out uterus and orgasms give u contractions. Good luck.. yeah sperm helps soften the cervix, its not only safe at this point, its encourage. my doc suggested at 37weeks i try to have sex at least once a day to encouragge an easier labor. haha so weird coming from a 70yr old man(my doc was way old, and just finally retired late) good luck
