I am on the patch and I recently was put on an antibiotic for a sinus infection. I had unprotected sex near the 25th day of my menstral cycle and while on the antibiotics. A friend recently told me that antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of birth control and my question is how much does it decrease the effectiveness and what are the odds I can be pregnant? Thanks
