Okay. My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time about a month ago (about a week after my last period). It was unprotected, but he didnt cum inside me. I have been using the patch method of birth contol to regulate my periods. But my doctor told me that for overweight women such as myself, the patch is less affective. For about a week afterward I felt nausea...The week of Christmas I had ONE day of my period and it was fairly light, so im not even sure thats what it really was. Normally with the patch ive had 5-6 day periods. Now im beginning to see an excess of discharge and im experiencing heartburn every other day or so. I havent taken a test yet because I dont know if I really need to. Can someone help me please? Could I be pregnant? What are some other signs I can look for?
