No you don't have to have sex to have a healthy baby. I have had 2 children and I have 1 on the way and I have NEVER EVER had a doctor tell me that I had to have sex to have a healthy baby infact your doctor may tell you not to have sex if he thinks it is unsafe for you or the baby and you may even find that having sex will be the last thing on your mind when you are pregnant. You boyfriend is an IDIOT.

Your boyfriend is obviously misinformed. Tell him that stressing you out by telling you to have more sex IF you don't want to can be bad for the baby. But sometimes we tend to have more of a sexual appetite when we're pregnant and enjoy the freedom of not worring about becoming pregnant.

you dont have to have sex to have a healthy baby, and in my case im 30wks along and high risk and any sex could put me in preterm labor. talk to your doctor to have sure its okay to have sex, if he says yes- then its up to you if you wish to or not
